I think I get a fair mixture
I get ESLs, some I can understand easily enough, others I really have to work at and it slows me down. Then I have some docs who are very easy and good moneymakers. I get a mixture. I am not a newbie and can do harder docs. I just find that my managers are great at evening out the work. IMO.

I use a mixture of rules and intuitive abbreviations, i.e., SM
When I'm making up an abbreviation I follow the rules I set for them, but within those rules I tend to assume the first abbreviation that pops into my mind that time will be the first one that pops in the next time. Usually that's been true and they're easily recalled. Every once in a while an abbreviation just doesn't work, and so I change it to one that does.

Ditto everything ShipAddic said, but with still adding I still have to look up words now and then until I finally have them down so pat my fingers know them without my having to think.

so easy to make your own baked chicken and tastes better.
Just wash a whole chicken (clean inside, as well) Then salt inside.

Put it breast-side DOWN on small baking rack in shallow baking sheet (I line the pan with foil first), bake at 350 for 30 minute, then turn the bird over onto its back (drain the cavity when you turn it over, put those droppings in the bottom of the cookie sheet). Bake for another hour, turn over (and drain cavity again) for 15-30 minutes, and then turn back on its back for a little longer. I do put some foil over the bird for the first hour or so just to save splatters on the oven. With whole chicken at 69 cents a pound, you just cannot get an cheaper, easier meal than this.

I just make like a meat loaf mixture with egg, cracker crumbs, salt, pepper, egg and milk. SM
Form into patties, cook with some chopped or sliced onions, then add an envelope of gravy mix and water, cook a few minutes. Easy, you can add other stuff or use canned gravy. Enjoy!
