New MTs work on-site! You will get noticed. I too worked on-site and have all of my accounts through word of mouth. I am still strictly an IC. No big business name here, but I make between 35 and 50 dollars an hour because the accounts I have trust that I can get the job done. This OP speaks true from experience! Take heed to this good advice.
