My 6-year-old gave me painted flower and a couple of flowers from the school sale, which of course I loved. My 17-year-old didn't even say Happy Mother's day until about 9:30 at night when he gave some BS about not having his paycheck or something. My husband got me a...get this...GET WELL CARD and some nicotine gum! The best part is he looked at me like I was crazy when I didn't jump for joy. Obviously there is something wrong with me, why in the world wouldn't I just love that??!!! I must be the most selfish woman on earth. Why would I want some flowers for my garden or something like that?? The burnt pizza he got for dinner was his extra special touch to top off a fabulous Mother's Day. Maybe for Father's Day I could find some big fat &*%^$ gum for him!
