How about Celebrity Fit Club??
Does anyone get into that?  I think this season will be good.  I'm Tempestt Bledsoe's age and I loved her in Cosby Show.  Go Vanessa!!  I'm also curious about Young MC.  That's good ole school stuff.  Tee hee.
Celebrity Fit Club
Just finished the show.  Really good.  I have to agree with the poster from earlier today that Tempestt did look wonderful.  She is radiant.  She and Chastity are motivating me.  I'm going to look into that SMASH diet they were talking about.  Who's with me?  No more cookies !!!  No more cookies !!!  Ugh, did I just type that "out loud" ??
Celebrity life
The subject of gastric bypass among the rich and famous is a taboo subject. Given that gastric bypass is a dangerous procedure, and that millions of adoring fans look up to these people, it becomes a very touchy subject. Many, many celebrities get gastric bypass, more than the public is aware of, because of the pressure and competition in that industry. The fact that many celebs get that surgery, and then promote to the public that they lost weight by diet and exercise, is a lot of pressure. Some celebs even get gastric bypass and then become spokespersons for weight loss programs such as Jenny Craig. This is an illusion to the public. The fact that Star Jones got gastric bypass and then tells the audience she lost weight by diet and pilates, I believe, causes the public to turn on her. Granted, it should be one's private choice and business, but when you are in the public eye, there is a price you pay for your fame. I believe many factors added to the demise of Star Jones popularity - her deception of her weight loss, her wedding, rumors about her husband's gay lifestyle, her dislike of animals, and the fact that she started a business with a line of fur coats once she got a name for herself. Yes, one does pay a price for fame. Your private life is almost not yours any more.
Surreal moment this a.m./CNN
Today on CNN they had on the phone a doctor by the name of Tony Asher, a local (Charlotte) neurosurgeon.

I have been to him and I work at a hospital where he practices, so ironically this a.m. I recognized his voice before I looked on the TV and saw his name during interview with Sonjay on CNN.  For me, it was a weird experience, but only one that another medical Transcriptionist could fully appreciate.

Also I have seen him as a patient. I was misdiagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia and he verified it wasn't that diagnosis. In long run, it was a bad tooth - I actually went to Duke for a consultation and they couldn't figure out the problem, BUT the first thing the doc there asked, "Are you sure it isn't a tooth?". AND it was a tooth, but that didn't happen until a x-ray by dentist later on (which contradicted findings of x-ray when this first happened).

I will always remember the resident that was in with the doc (whose name I long forgot) - the resident looked just like Raymond's brother on "Everyone Loves Raymond." And talked like him.

Celebrity tell-all
Hey, what a concept. Another way to make money on the side for the MT who was asking.... JUST KIDDING!! What an imagination you have....should write a movie of the week.
How is she a celebrity anyway? Never heard of her before this.
?
Celebrity newscasters
... agree with you newsfreakMT - it's more about the spin and sensationalism today in journalism, than anything else. Difficult to get unbiased news.
Sexiest celebrity
George Bush? Gag me with a spoon.
POLL: Sexiest Male Celebrity Alive?
I still go for Tom Cruise everytime! I know, he's weird, but I simply can't help it!
I've been on Celebrity and Princess. Loved them both. Lots of info at cruisecritic.com. nm

Welcome to the club, NN...
Instead of Sloan Kettering, I typed Sloan Cattery multiple times in a report.  I worked at a veterinary school and it made sense to me.  Luckily the boss caught it before it was sent.  But, yes, with the volume of reports most of us produce in a day, there are bound to be some errors.
Life is life....the haven't bonded the same as if it were a 2-year-old!

If that is Yuck's club no thanks
her idea of cool is sitting and popping her pimples all day and then having her husband pop the ones on her fat butt all night.  That is why he left ya know.   Well, one of the reasons anyway.
Yep. -- Welcome to the protectors club.
Sounds like me too.
Sam's Club will get you every time! You cannot
Then it is such a hassle trying to find a place to put it all! I go there to save $ but it just wears me out!
join the club
Age/arthritis? - see a doctor. Out of shape? - exercise. Here are some PT back exercises: http://www.nismat.org/orthocor/programs/lowback.html

Feel better!
18 years.. Can I be in the club?

It pays the bills.  I love it, hence my name!!!

What about a gardening club?
You might check on-line and see if there are any gardening groups in your area. Or ask neighbors about it. Or you might consider starting a home bible class if there is anything you want to study. They have books to help you at the Christian book store. Or if you have pets, I discovered there are breed and non-breed dog clubs around. You can find those on line for your area.

Good luck!
I got mine at Sam's Club for about $70.
My arms don't adjust and I don't have a headrest, but I do have a high back.   My only recommendation is to be sure you get a chair where the seat and the back touch, not like the cheaper ones where there is only a small back piece and your lower back isn't supported.
2.30 (but that was at Sam's Club with the membership card) (nm)

Anyone want to do a group savings club?

Just trying to drum up a little motivation.

If we pact to do 100 lines a day more each day that we earn and then put that net amount into savings each paycheck, it can add up a bit!

For me, that would be 500 lines a week or $160 a month gross.  By the time my taxes are taken out, that's about $131 a month net and THAT adds up to $1572 a year!

Any takers?!  See who earns the most for it or heck even stays with it?!

How about a Marriott Vacation Club villa?
They have several in Orlando. I haven't checked the price recently but I think a 2 bdr villa used to be in the $220 per night range - full kitchen, washer/dryer, everything you need.

Join the club on being confused. With turning us

things are charged, billed, or anything any more.

It just seems like they wanted me to work for nothing to clean up ASR reports.  It was pitiful what they wanted, considering what they needed me to clean up.  I could have typed it faster and better using my word expanders.

I know the Club Med there will not be open until June 2006, if that is of any help. sm

No doubt a travel agent could give you an idea of how things are.  If it was me, I think I'd wait a bit.  They were hit pretty hard, and there is a lot of cleanup, I'm sure.

Wherever you go, have some sun in the fun for me!

I'm in the 40's club also Kiki and wondering the same thing but the way I sm
see it is I'll be working until I'm at least 70, so I have a good 30 years left to work! Funny thing is I'll be going to college at the same time as my oldest 2 children which is kind of neat!!
Mine is a DJ at at strip club and yes, he's a wonderful, trustworthy man :) nt

Lord, preserve me from Sam's Club! That place is dangerous!

Club Sandwiches, Chips, Pickles, Carrot Slaw
exciting, huh? :)
I make sure the job is not my life and that it does not take over my life. sm
I have been at this 25 years, even once had my own accounts and worked 24/7 with cat naps to keep going but no real sleep. I really burned myself out. Now I work a regular 40-hour week, but it is not my life. It is a means of making money so I can go live my life. I work for a company that is not all about production. They want us to take our time and do it right. I am doing that, and it feels so good to be able to work at my craft and be allowed to do a good job while I am at work.

But after I get off, I have my family and I take time to have fun and enjoy life. I think that is the key to not staying burned out. You need down time, time to have fun, exercise, relax, etc.

Exercise is very important, too. It rejuvenates the hormone system so you have more positive hormones flowing through your body and helps get rid of stress.

That's what I do.
I'm the one who needs to get a life?

You people are the ones laughing at people behind their backs.  Typical female, backstabbing, egotistical snobs.  Exactly why most of you can't handle working in an office.  Thanks anyway, but my life doesn't include ridiculing people for me own ego.  You go right ahead.  Feel good about yourself.

Never in my life

I guess I have led a sheltered life.  I never in my entire life heard about so many companies bouncing checks in this business!  I would be out the door so fast, there'd be no dust behind me.  Have I just been lucky?

I have a life.
It's not a money issue. I have hobbies but the winters are long and cold and I'm not a winter outddoors person, only summer and I have no child. Kinda of a workaholic.
Yes, I live a simplier life.
Get a life b.
I didn't realize it was intentionally setting a flame by telling people you like where you work instead of the freaks who come on here constantly complaining about their jobs. Most of you only want to hear negative things and not positives, so when someone posts something positive, you jump all over them. I think you need to grow up b.
Get a life.
Whatever fugly trash. If you want more, keep it coming.
Don't even try to top my life
you old decrepit piece of trailer trash. I will win hands down every time. Now go to bed and dream about the love of your life, your horse, Mr. Ed.
No, I sure don't come first in his life.
he does of me.  Seems like his loyalty lies there.  I don't think he ever learned the "leave and cleave" thing.  And our kids are very important to him.  He makes it abundantly clear that I am not top priority.  Sometimes I daydream that I meet someone who really loves me and run away with him.

nothing in life is ever as it seems...sm

you all might be able to *read* all this supposed goodness but some might see it differently.....as some are better readers of others in life, perhaps more intuitive..

LOL everyone in my life has always said....sm

Everyone in my life has always said I should be a *comedienne*...... they ALL cannot be wrong as they all do not know each other.  I do see myself as *entertaining* others.  *winks*

However, I don't like lazy people.  I'm the first one to help on these boards, unless they really don't help themselves.....just the way I am.....

Be well.......loved your reaction!!  Oh and the one under it, who also LOL.

It is her life, but you can still try to help her
I agree, abortion is wrong, she would be making a bad decision that she might later regret very deeply. It is her life (but not just her body involved anymore--there's another living being whose body is growing inside hers), but you can still try to help her. She may not want to listen, and if not, then you've done what you can and she has to live with the consequences of her own decisions. There are many good resources available, such as National Right to Life at nrlc.com (http://www.nrlc.org/abortion/index.html) and various Catholic organizations, with a lot of information available about the negative effects of abortion. She won't get that type of info from Planned Profithood--they just want to put as many women through the mill as they can. Learn about it yourself and then share the information with her. You may at least be able to persuade her not to kill the baby but to put it up for adoption instead. She may also be interested in the negative health effects of a promiscuous lifestyle (such as increased risk for cervical cancer in women). Good luck to you.
WHY? Get a life.
x
Well, it's his life, isn't it? (sm)
Sounds like you're more upset about the lack of respect than your son's happiness.
your life
It sounds to me that you are one of those people who takes care of everyone but themselves and as Dr. Phil says, you must be getting a payback from it.  I don't know how old you are, but you sound young.  One thing I know for sure is that you will never change your brothers so don't even bother trying.  It's not your job.  Let them live their lives and you live yours.  If you are choosing to do what you are doing, i.e.working working working and giving giving giving then so be it.  Not everybody is like that.  You have to ask yourself why your mom keeps allowing you to do as much as you are doing for her without helping herself.  I'm no expert but if you continue on this way, something's gonna snap.
Life
You have probably reached your limit. The most I have worked for is 3 companies at once and I did not have a life to speak of outside of work. I am working for a national now - and you have to break your neck to transcribe a line - they may pay higher than a small local company - but their line lengths or the ESLs prevent you from transcribing per hour your real potential. I wouldn't take on the neurology group unless I was just desperate for the $$. You could take it, though, and subcontract it to your friend - with her as an IC. Check the IRS website to get the specifics on subcontracting or "hiring" an IC and what it means to your bottom line. Hope this helps.
Get a life!
MTs come on here to vent and our fingers get to flying and we don't sit there and edit our posts. We do enough of that when working.
Life after MT at age 58
For those of you who are happy MT'g, I am glad for you.  This is for those who are not.  Just to let you know, at the age of 58, I am going into a customer service career for an auto company's financial division, and will be making more than thirty thousand a year - so yes, it can be done.   My only qualification was that at one time for about five months I gave real estate a try - not my forte, didn't like the driving, people not showing up, etc.  So yes, you can still do something else, don't give up if you really can't tolerate it any more.  There is hope!
I also have a life ---
that is why I want to work smarter when I am working and get it done so I can live my life...
You need a life...

Actually, that's my life, not like : ) - nm
