I am of an Asian background, raised by Puerto Rican's -- the only block that I can mark on any form is "Asian Pacific Islander" - go figure. I have been called Oriental, Japanese, Chinese, Asian, Cambodian, etc.. The only time I am sensitive is when they make a negative comment about a culture/people they are totally ignorant about.
