They can brag all they want.......
I just don't want to have to pay to rebuild and rebuild for them out of my taxes. If they can't afford to rebuild on the beach, then don't build there in the first place. Heck, my mother's insurance company that she's paid into for 50 years doesn't even want to replace her roof in total torn up from the hurricane.
She just wants an opportunity to brag about all the
If the hubs were to walk out on her and leave her with no alimony, no nuthin', I wonder how rah-rah she'd be about having to sell most of what she's got just to keep a roof over her head.
Money brag or is this normal now?
Why might someone might feel the need to tell you how much money they make when you did not even ask?! Insecurity, perhaps? This happened to me recently via e-mail and I have no idea how to respond, if at all.
I think this post was put here to brag and incite flames.
You know from history that every time the big money makers in this field boast about how much money they make in how little time that the thread goes downhill fast. First, somebody doesn't believe. Then someone is offended at the insinuation of lying. Then someone says other people could do it, too, if they were any good at MT. Then everyone is defending themselves and name calling. Why start it? Especially during the week before Christmas? Do you really need to rub people's noses in their lousy paychecks when some of us don't have enough money to even get gifts for the people in our lives or pay our bills because there was no work this pay period? People who need to tell others how much they make suffer from low self-esteem and misplaced priorities. There are more important things in life than money.
Yes, as long as it's NOT an expense the employer

*humor* at the expense of one's sexuality &.NM
About $65 a month, but the biggest expense is
You have to purchase the equipment and pay for installation. The dish weighs about 75 lbs so if you don't want that weight on your roof, you can have it put on a pole in your yard and that's extra. Plus they charge to bury the line from the pole to your house ($3.25 a foot - I buried it myself). All total for me, including first month's service over $700. But, hey, when that's your only option, what do you do? There may be a company or something where you live that 'rents' the equipment for a small extra monthly fee - that's how we do our satellite TV so we don't pay for repairs. Satellite internet is not as fast as DSL or cable, but is still much faster than dialup. Plus, if you're an IC, it's all a tax writeoff. Hughes Net customer service stinks big-time and if you don't like them taking the monthly charge directly out of your checking account, they charge an extra $5 a month to mail you a bill. They know you have no other high-speed options and they have you over a barrel - so they stick it to you every way they can.
The 'suits' have it too good - at OUR expense - sm
and things will probably not begin to change (if ever), until the lawsuits start coming in. I for one am just sitting there on the fence, waiting for the time when my own care or records are screwed up in such a manner that it causes me to (a) have inferior care or an injury as a result, (b) not have something covered by my HMO because of a doctor's mis-dictation that some slap-dash, third-rate (or third-world!) transcription company's MT doesn't catch, or (c) some personal information is leaked. Then I will LEAP off that fence and SUE so aggressively that hopefully after that I can retire and live well off the settlement.
Something for all the Greedy Ones out there in CEO-Land to think about.
Gotta brag: Just found out my son earned... (see message)
the Presidential Fitness Award for the third year in a row, and my daughter earned the National Award!
No, I am not trying to brag. I just wanted to know if others who live in my region are charging app
I did speak to another local MT this evening and she is charging .15 per line. That is all I wanted to know, what was the norm for this area and if I was overcharging.
If, for whatever reasone, you end up suppling ink, use it as a business expense, if you are IC. nm
:
on COBRA at YOUR expense..that wasn't the question.

I asked you to SHARE HOW - not brag. That's why folks like YOU aren't credible.
So sad that you should be so pompous. That's why I have to question HOW these #s are honestly achieved.
I have to go satellite internet also, but have found no companies that will help with that expense..
I have found plenty that will hire with dial up or satellite, but I cant find a company willing to help with the expense. We spent $600 up front for our satellite system and then $59 a month! It is definitely worth the expense...especially since it would take me 1/2 day just to load my work on dial up before I could even start on it. At least now I am loading and working at a high rate of speed! Good Luck and Happy New Year!
