    The only thing better would be one of him naked and playing bongos - still can't get that vision out of my head!!!! 
    As an employee you are pretty much at their mercy
    regarding when you work, where you work, etc. but I am a little surprised they demanded you have DSL installed and did not help you set up your equipment. It sounds like you don't have the freedom you would like but being an employee and working from home can be difficult. If you love the job/work I would do as suggested below and just come right out and ask where you fit into their plans for the future so at least you will know. Best of luck to ya!! :)
