No problem.....he hasn't given me any work for 2 weeks...and counting..I am afraid to make him mad and have him never pay me. Also, others that work for Klaar have been emailing, and NO ONE is getting paid anywhere!!! He never answers anyone, and there is never anyone at the office. My husband is about ready to scream. Things are really getting tense, and I am due another check in 5 days!!

You must be talking about the mysterious "captain rick". Yes, I'm quite suspicious of this already. No one is ever in the office?? I re-faxed personal info of mine to that office already, since he claimed he didn't have paperwork since another girl left.
OK--my question is this - where is a nice company to go to work for PT that won't try to stiff my checks?

I thought by TSI you meant Transolutions, near Chicago. I tried to get hired with them. I guess nice companies really are hard to find. I'm angry I made this foolish choice. After reading your post, I'm downright nervous. I've worked hard, I mean HARD, working 2 jobs and all night to get work back to them (Klaar). Then this bouncing check and late check crap. I still have Dept. Labor's phone number if I need it. I'm just trying to stay employed. Will keep an eye out for your post. Good luck and thank you.

I worked for Klaar for 2 years. In the beginning it was not like this, but all of a sudden when his brother left after helping him start up the company, it got bad. It did not take long for him to screw it up totally! I have had late checks, up to 2 to 3 weeks late several times in a row. I finally quit, gave month notice and now my time is up, thank goodness! I found another company I am very happy with, get paid on time! Never a problem! Captain Rick is crazy!!!!

Hi there! this is my 1st time doing this, but am so angry I had to do something. Have worked for "Captain Rick" from Klaar for a year, and up until a few months ago, everything was fine. Now, no one is getting paid. I have had no work for 2 weeks, and I can't get him or anyone else in that so-called office to call me back. I am begging him for work and pay on his voicemail every day, along with leaving messages at the office. What, if anything, can I do? And who else is out there having any problems with Klaar?????? AAHHHH!!

Klaar Transcription
Has anyone heard of this transcription service or any good/bad about them? I recently started a PT job with them a little over a month ago. So far all I have received is 1 paycheck. I should have received another paycheck from them on 12/15/05 or 2 days after. I have not received any money for hours/lines worked. President of this company says he will "wire" my check to me if I don't receive it in the mail. I have called the state's labor department. I'm beginning to wonder about the integrity of this company. Has anyone heard anything about them? I'm not sure what to do.

I'm not threatened by this BOZO. I've made it very clear about my time/hours worked. The girl from the Labor Dept. office wanted to know what I wanted to do. She's prepared to receive another phone call from me. She said this type of thing unfortunately is VERY COMMON. I'm 41 years old now. I've been doing this job since I was 23. I don't think Rick can give me any bad karma in my medical transcription career. I have an interview today, plus 2 other offers for employment from other companies. I'm not worried about this clown. I'm just not working another FRIGGIN hour for this sleazebag. I've worked under extremely difficult supervisors before and have maintained a good reputation of integrity and hard loyal work to this career and have always been able to find work with reputable companies. This bozo will be exposed. Why does no one answer the phone in that office?? It's very suspicious!! I just sent him an email letting him know I'm not buying into his personal line of BS. I don't care how angry I make him. If it was a decent company, he would have sent my paycheck AT LEAST PRIORITY MAIL OR CERTIFIED MAIL, not regular mail just like some regular piece of junk mail.
