Changes are that he is not even aware of what is going on and is semi-comatose or full coma. Hopefully, the hospital will keep him comfortable. My father-in-law went so fast that the nursing home couldn't give him enough morphine to keep him comfortable (even though he was basically not awake we could tell he was experiencing discomfort), they legally couldn't dispense enough and it was evening. They were going to call Hospice in the morning but he passed away before that could be done. Hopefully, the hospital will have the ability to keep this man comfortable.
Friend's kidneys shut down from anorexia on a Friday, she died early Sunday. nm
