I bought one at Best Buy for about 50.00, had it worked up to my work computer and home computer tower, used one keyboard, one mouse, one monitor, and a router for the internet connection. Mine hooked up in 10 minutes, was simple to use, all you do is hit left shift and then right shift and when you get on the computer you want hit the space bar, or something like that and do the same to get to the other computer, very simple indeed to use and a really good thing to use, no problem at all. Hope this helps.

KVM switches...sm
I have a Linksys KVM switch but for some reason it isn't working. The monitor will work with both and only if the mouse/keyboard are plugged in. If they are plugged in, it doesn't matter because they don't work. It's such a hassle!
Does anyone have recommendations for a better KVM switch to use for two jobs?

KVMs are easy to install. With mine, all I do is hit left shift, right shift and then when monitor goes to the computer I want, hit the space bar. BestBuy.com sells them, that is where I purchased mine, but at the store. My son installed mine, took 10 minutes and what a time saver from plugging in and unplugging for monitor, keyboard, etc. Good luck, you will love it.
Did you set those little switches on the back ..
according to the Dictaphone diagram? nm
KVM switches are great. To switch
between computers, I just hit the scroll lock key twice and the up arrow to switch between them. Very easy to install.
