Waste of time to MT's. I think the supervisor should use more discretion in the use of company email. !

jokes in imail
I for sure, would be forwarding those right on to someone in corporate, maybe even under the Ask Frank site
My kids can tell better jokes than that

5 jokes in my company email as of 7 p.m.
I agree that this is improper use of email, especially by our superiors !
My imail keeps telling me that I am 98% full, and need to delete messages without jokes being sent to fill up my mailbox, too. What would happen if all of us MQ MT's began sending out jokes via MQ COMPANY EMAIL. I don't think that would set well with MGMT ! We just don't have time to read jokes via company email. We are struggling to get in our lines in order to pay our light bills, etc.
Personally, I would prefer to only receive WORK-RELATED emails from my supervisor. I would prefer to read the jokes on my own time and of a subject of which I choose to read jokes about. It is just not what I want to do when I sit down to work -- read JOKES in emails from my supervisor.

Hey, you're supposed to put jokes
on the comedy stop board.
jokes on you busy-body MT. hahaha.
really can we get someone to look into busy MT's background before she receives one more report to transcribe regarding her unfortunate habit of psychopathic lying and associated protesting too much on MT boards? Who knows what lurks IN this deviant mind?
Are we not allowed to post jokes on the board now?
It was a simple question, actually an oxymoron, "a casket coming with a lifetime warranty?"
Reminder: Jokes go on Comedy board. (SM)
This has been an issue before. No exceptions.
Thank you.
There is truth behind every joke anyway so if someone jokes about something and finds it funny
their true feelings show. I don't think the dumb-a$$ male is all that funny and I guess it's because most males I know are pretty smart so of course I wouldn't post "jokes" like the OP. That's why I think OP did not really respect men and found humerous truth in the "joke."
I get offended by blonde jokes. They're not funny at all.
Especially, after hearing them over and over again from people who think they're being "clever". In addition, I don't know how many times people have told me to prove that I'm a real blonde. Like they can't tell from my eyebrows. Duh, really funny and so original. I've never heard that one before.
We blondes do have to overcome the stereotype. People think we're stupid or promiscuous just because we're blonde. Scoff all you want to, but it's true. No, we don't have it as tough as minorities do at all, but nobody ever takes us seriously either. I'd give examples of real life discrimination and harrassment in the workplace, but why bother? Everyone just thinks they're being funny or clever.
trailer parks have long been the but of jokes about the people who live in them.
You know that. If you choose to live in a trailer park that is certainly your right but sorry the stigma is there and I nor the OP created it. There was a running joke about Paula Jones (Clinton's "friend") being trailer park trash. Why? I don't know as I do not live in trailer park nor do I want to because I don't want the stigma. I was looking at property in North Carolina and there was no zoning regulation so the property was across the street from a trailer park which brought property values down. I am not making this up nor do I create it. It is what it is. Oh, BTW, there is a new show coming on MTV, a parody I think of the home improvement shows, where a gay biker type grit, tries to rehab trailer homes. Hilarious. Again, I didn't make it up nor stigmatize trailer parks. Someone took a concept of their idea of people and their trailer homes and ran with it. There is also the same idea in Blue Collar TV with Jeff Foxworthy on Comedy Channel.
Bottom line, there is a stigma to living in a trailer park and you have to learn to live with that. I personally can't live with the stigma and do not entertain the thought of moving to a trailer park. I think it would be hard on my kids to have that trailer park stigma on them as they enter school.
Post jokes and comedy on Comedy board. (NM)
