3.  Sean Penn in "Sam."
4.  Phillip Seymour Hoffman in "Capote."
5.  Dakota Fanning ... in anything she's in.  :}
6.  Robert DeNiro in "Awakenings."
7.  Cliff Robertson in "Charly."

That's good acting.
