I started working at home transcribing when my oldest son was 2. He will turning 17 in November. I work for a national and have great flexibility. I work split shifts so I can be here for my family in the early afternoon and evening. I start my day off by going to the gym for 30 minutes each morning after I drop the kids off to school.I have four children. The 17-year-old is the oldest. The 4-year-old is the youngest. I make around $100 a day and I only work between 2 to 4 hours per day. I love this job! Why are you even considering going to work in the hospital that is 40 miles away? If you can transcribe, you can work from home. Stay home with the kids and have the best of both worlds.
