It is so much more than A and B. It can't be

Even so, I would say education, education, education...whether it is government funded or not. My dream is to build a school to address some of the topics that came up here. I would like to get them young before society and/or parents ruin them. I know a lot of young people who didn't finish school for one reason or another. Sometimes, the poor choices made as poverty stricken teenagers and young adults are just part of being young and wanting to fit in or belong. The majority of the time hindsight is 20/20. There are a lot of defeated people saying woulda, coulda, shoulda, who don't have the mindset to know they still can! The mind is very powerful and very fragile at the same time. Easily conditioned and brainwashed. Once conditioned to see things negatively very hard to recondition to see the positive but it can be done. Most uneducated believe it's too late for them and they should be happy for the life they have, so they stay stuck in the rut they are in.

It's never too late. As long as you have life, it isn't too late.

Although, I feel education is huge, even that isn't the answer, but it is a very good start. Sorry to go on so long about this subject, but there are many, many variables. It is what each of you voiced here and then some.
