Is it gray highlighting or is the text actually gray?

The highlighting would mean that the text is in a field and that doesn't print, it just shows on your screen. You can turn that display off Tools.

That's not her problem. Gray text is "here and there."
xx
No, its gray
No, the text is actually gray and shows up when it is printed. I'm starting to think it is the autotext for some reason I can't figure out so I guess I'll get an Expander when I can afford it.
Gray's Anatomy
I have not watched it yet, I did tape it. I will watch tonight. I understand, I am totally addicted to that show. I never want it to end!
Oh, my, now it' a pic of a gray-haired man

DAVID GRAY and tiramisu.
I exercise my gray matter more than most..sm
so I believe it's from having TOO MUCH ON YOUR PLATE.....*l* - really, more responsibilities, more things to remember......all that stuff.....so who would remember typing the report.
What's great is....if someone down the road ASKED you about that certain report(s), MQ, QA, or an MD's office....you'd most certainly remember it......*LOL*
So, it's only the short-term memory that is affected FIRST *l* - that and the eyes.......first to go *rofl*
sigh...another report to add gray to the head
Doing a psych eval on a patient I really got caught up in, one of those sad cases that can get to you, feelingbad for the family, traumatic brain injury after an MVA, 23 with 1 yr old twins....has not been the same since, hence needed a psych consult on admission. IF I typed this phrase once I typed it 20 times "patient very highly distressed and anxious"....well so was I by the time I spend 45 minutes for 68 lines...nope, not ESL, but all American good ol boy, must have had a beard, can't figure out what the static & noise was, but noticed when he blew my ear drums out it was there,,,when he strained them, it was'nt..not sure why he felt he had to whisper on parts then break the sound barrier on others anyway...signed off before another one of HIS reports..geez!
I used to have a cat named Dorothy too. She was gray and white.

GRAY TYPE MAKING ME BLUE
A gray type keeps showing up on documents I type in word. If I highlight the whole document the font and style boxes in the toolbar will say the same font and style for the whole document but there is still a gray text here and there. I think it might somehow be in an autotext I use. I even remove all formatting when I am done and then reformat it but it will still show up occasionally after that. It is driving me nuts. Has anyone ever heard of a glitch like this? I could try not using any autotext but I would lose way too much time.
Loreal will cover the gray. Try an ash blonde shade. SM
That is what I do and when my white starts growing in at the sides, it blends in nicely. Looks like highlights.
Professional color looks amazing, but costs a fortune. You can do it yourself, but don't use the inexpensive brands, stick to the better ones. They will cover the white.
My gray talks like crazy. People on the phone will often ask who is there with me.
:+
yes, hair can turn prematurely gray from stress
I hate days like that - when every dictator is bad (and when half the reports maybe get sent to QA). Bless your heart for the struggle!!!
Either online or hardcopy anatomy reference, like Gray's. (nm)

I think it is tied into working at home and not exercising the gray matter, except for MT stuff.
:
structured text from free text...
eventually just templates filled in. being that I am near 50, I will probably be okay, but I feel bad for all the younger MTs just now in school. according to this article, we will all have to be willing to learn the new ways.
no more 'blind faith'
DQS pay for text
Once again, it seems that you could ask all 10,000 strong we are supposed to be and probably get 10,000 different answers to what MQ pays/does not pay for, BECAUSE, there just is no consistency across the board and different management give different answers to all of these questions.
Just like the DQS manual, there SHOULD be a one for all/all for one manual with rules, etc set in stone..just not the multiple language instructions like we see in any manual these days....enough of that going through my brain right now
Have you ever had most of the text in - sm
one of your My Documents files in your PC just plain VANISH? I had a spelling reference file I'd built over many months just plain disappear, except for just a couple of lines. It's so WEIRD! I've done a search of the hard drive, checked the Recycle Bin, etc. But it's nowhere to be found. I hadn't backed it up because it was still a relatively new file for me, and there was more I wanted to add to it first.
So my question is this: Is there a way to retrieve or restore an apparently "lost" file?

auto text, auto text auto text - I also have ...
a couple of doctor accounts that pay me "off the books" and it's less than $800/month so that helps out a great deal.
I autotext every report until I build each doctor up to a "normal" text format. if you want more info - email me at dcr468@aol.com. I am always hesitant about writing the name of companies on this board because of the serious bashing that goes on.

Instant Text ?
All you have to do is add VENTILATION PERFUSION SCAN to the glossary. Type it in your document the way you want all caps with a colon or not, etc. and highlight it and press Alt and the +/= sign at the same time to add it to the glossary and then the next time you want it type vps but look at the list and pick the one you want all caps or lower case. You can always delete the lower case version if you do not need it. Let me know if you need more info. Good Luck
Instant Text V Pro
I can give you some info on Instant Text V Pro if you'd like.
The most popular features of IT V Pro include the Importer, the Compilation feature, the Includes feature and Continuations.
The Importer takes abbreviation lists from other sources, such as AutoCorrect, and imports them into IT so you can continue using them without having to start creating a new list from scratch.
The Compilation feature is used to create personalized glossaries by scanning saved documents on your computer and pulling out the most frequently used phrases and words to instantly compile a customized glossary in seconds.
The Includes feature allows you to use more than one glossary at a time.
And the Continuations feature is a feature that brings up what you are likely to type next in your sentence. So for example, if you were to type "The patient", IT will then suggest what you are likely to type next based on what you've typed in the past.
