You left there for whatever reason. You take delight in the
fact that they were reported for not paying OT. Now you want to go back because they pay better. Hypocritical.
Robin, you're a delight, always so positive. ) nm

No, not take over. Increase international labor use? Yes.
owning a US company but using international labor.
Formerly International Correspondence Schools...sm
...which did not have a stellar reputation.
The College is "accredited" by the Distance Education and Training Council, which is recognized as an accrediting agency by the US Dept of Education but NOT by many traditional colleges and universities.
Note that their high school is accredited by something called the Middle States Commission on Secondary Schools, which people often confuse with the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
If you're planning on a program that will involve either licensing or transfer to a "traditional" school, graduate work, etc., you should check with the licensing agency in your state or the school you would be transferring to in order to be sure that the Penn Foster credential or degree will be acceptable.

Liquid Diet
My brother-in-law lost a lot of weight doing a liquid diet (not sure for how long, though), but he gained most of his weight back.
International Red Cross started the aid to the Tsunami victims first.
It was over a week before we could start shipping in aid and a couple weeks before we had the telethon. It's only been 2 days so far. I still believe that when it comes down to human suffering people will respond no matter what country it happens in. It just takes time.
What really angers me is that we're hearing on the news that a major portion of the cost of aid in our OWN country will come from donations of US citizens. Where does our tax money go when we need it the most, with situations like these? Our taxes should be used for the citizens of the United States, and whatever is left over for aid to others, not for subsidizing every other country in the world that our govt. pledges it to.
Service Employees International Union (SEIU)
Strike looms at Hastings hospital
By TIM HARLOW, Star Tribune Last update: November 21, 2008 - 11:12 PM
About 230 employees at Regina Medical Center in Hastings are spending today making final preparations for a two-day strike they have called for next week.
Nurses aides, X-ray technicians, physical therapy aides, housekeepers, dietary workers, medical transcriptionists, operating room aides, patient care technicians who are part of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Healthcare Minnesota are set to walk of the job at 6 a.m. Monday unless they can come to agreement on a new contract over the weekend, said Ryan Nagle, a union spokesman.
No new talks are scheduled paving the way for the two-day walkout on Monday and Tuesday. The union is not calling for an open-ended strike because "we want to limit any impact on patients" but still get its message out to the hospital and the community, Nagle said.
The workers have been without a contract since Oct. 31 and have rejected offers that would bring them higher costs for health insurance and a reduce retirement benefits. Pay is not a sticking point in the negotiations, Nagle said.
Union members and hospital officials have met several times in the past three weeks, but last met on Monday.
Nagle said union members will meet at 3:30 p.m. today at the Pleasant Hill Library to make picket signs and support each other.
the turkey produces its own liquid...
if you add chicken broth, be sure to only add a little- like 1/2 a cup.
Get some liquid Benadryl in him quickly and
People can develop allgeries suddenly and for no apparent reason and it's much easier to deal with when you have your senses about you than wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of his gasping for air!
Have you thought of liquid diet? - sm
I found a great site a few years ago, liquiddietdiscussion.com and they sell something similar to Optifast though it tastes a million times better and is cheaper. I have done NS too. I have about a 2 month supply of both right now, and think I may do a liquid diet for months then transition to the Nutri-Systems for return to real food part and to train myself how to eat right. I have about 70 pounds to lose too to get down to my proper weight, though some of it may be from a medical problem (waiting on blood work now, will know on Friday), but figure in order to get a quick result a liquid diet for 1 to 2 months should give me the jumpstart I need and hack off at least 40 pounds in 2 months if not more. Check it out and discuss it with you doctor. Good luck.
Liquid diet for 1 to 2 months?!
I don't think I could do it for 1 to 2 days, let alone that long?!
I would highly recommend the Enclave Suites on International Drive (sm)
We stayed there when the kids were young, when we lived up north. We had a 2 BR suite. Each bedroom had its own bath plus they were on opposite ends of the suite for privacy. There was a good size kitchenette, large LR/DR area and balcony. There was a restaurant right off the pool area which served a full menu plus every day from 4-7 they had happy hour with free buffett. At night they had live music. Only about 45 minutes to Daytona as well.
hey, do you take liquid or powder creamer in your coffee?
here is a sample (sounds delicious, I might add)...I always add liquid when using it.
2 - 3-1/2 lb frozen turkey breast (not thawed)
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1/8 cup sugar
Place frozen turkey breast in slow cooker. Pour remaining ingredients on top. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
I have that too, I call it liquid gold, it is SO expensive.
My pharmacy charges $65 for a 2 inch tube of it, but it does work well.
OK, sounds good, but doesn't it need liquid to

I think French just might be
my least favorite accent. Despite my French teacher bragging about what excellent speakers the French are, never saying um, just having fast flowing speech, when dictating in English, the ones I've done have had some serious stammering, poor enunciation, extra words, and many unexplained word choice changes, and it's all I can do not to scream and grind my teeth the moment I hear that accent.
I'd love to tell my snotty French teacher that, too.
French!

French for me too.

You must be French or something because it is
(singular)
▸ noun: the form of a word that is used to denote a singleton
▸ adjective: grammatical number category referring to a single item or unit
(plural)
▸ noun: the form of a word that is used to denote more than one
▸ adjective: grammatical number category referring to two or more items or units
pleural is a medical term, regarding the lungs....
French Ed. major
with English Ed minor and Music minor. No jobs around here in Northern Indiana, and extended family is here, so once started having kids, kind of just fell into this work. Love it, though, love using the Latin I had years ago.

The French sounding name in other words
it was not like I was a Jones or Smith, you know, simple sounding every day names and if you have worked as long as I have in this business, I have seen dictators get a chart mixed up with another, not that it happens often. That was the reason for my saying it - he could not have mistaken my dictation for a Ms. Smith or Ms. Jones....
French 1st Language dictators
My take is that you are both correct and mistaken. People with French as their mother tongue can be both challenging and reliable to transcribe in English. The challenging part is the omission of certain sounds that are normal to the English-attuned ear. The reliable part is that the differences one hears are usually SO predictable. I belive that with more info I can help you even with your specific problem.
I think Spanish and French are the worst, (sm)
and I even took French. But they have an annoying way of dropping out all recordable sound and just doing something with their lips that a recorder can't pick up at the end of some words that is very annoying.
I have enjoyed British, but every newbie should be warned about their "stop" and "full stop" for punctuation, LOL.
Autocorrect turned french!
Out of no where my autocorrect is french! Anyone know how to turn this off??
maybe she means 'pissoir', it's French, look it up!...nm

Spanish, French do celebrate Christmas in USA
Middle Eastern Arabic people do not celebrate Christmas nor the Jewish people (and Chanukah comes early 12/3 this year so they should be working. Russian Christmas is in January. The Hispanic community as well as the French communities here in the USA, as I know it, certainly do celebrate Christmas. Happy Holidays To All....
I thought the French, Germans, and Russians were hairy.
Would that make them hirsutian?
Hot French bread with real butter, rasberries
with real cream, Belgian sweet dark chocolate and Fritos. It would have to be my last supper, because it would probably kill me! Yummmmmmm.
Not much different than eating French toast with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs w/cheese. nm
