Instant Text is best by far and it will import your AC entries.

Instant Text can import your SH entries so you can continue
to use those shortcuts you are used to. IT can also import AutoCorrect and AutoText.
I used SH for a whole lot of years and switched to IT and have never looked back!
Instant Text, over 19,800 entries, adding all the time,
and I don't have to remember because the IT is at the bottom of my screen for as many lines as I like, I have 3 showing.
How to print a list of Instant Text Glossary Entries
Any help appreciated.. thanks!
Bayscribe expander entries/Instant Text question ...
Has anyone here had success in converting their Bayscribe Expander entries to Instant Text? If so, how did you go about it.
Thanks in advance.
Instant Text creates entries and the short forms from
previously saved documents. You run a compile on the reports and it picks up the most frequent words and phrases. Go to their site and click on the overview link to see how it works.
Is there any way to import Word Autocorrect entries into WordPerfect?
I've been Googling it and there is some info about going from WordPerfect to Word, but I can't find anything about importing them from Word to WordPerfect.
I just got really screwy account where we have to transcribe the reports in WordPerfect to get the line count, then save them in Word to send to the client.
Auto Text entries
The file should be located here:
c:documents and settings<your name>application datamicrosoft emplates
There are a couple of other "critical" files that you should also back up. One is CUSTOM.DIC - (this is your dictionary) c:documents and settings<your name>application datamicrosoftproof
and the other is MSO1033.acl (AutoCorrect entries) c:documents and settings<your name>application datamicrosoftoffice
Auto text entries are saved to the template.
Open a document (even a new, blank one). Click on Tools, Templates and Add-in. Click on the box at the bottom, Organizer. Choose the Auto Text tab. If the AT entires you're looking for are shown, make note of the template that they're attached to (in most cases, this will be Normal). If you want them to be copied to a new template, simply choose that template in the opposite box and copy any or all entries that you want to copy.
RE: Auto Text - I keep adding AutoText entries but then the next day they are gone. Any suggestion

Auto Text entries on word. Is there a way to copy these or print these? Thanks in advance. NM

You can save the SH file in a text file and import to IT that way. sm
You may have to do some cleanup in the SH text file, but it sure would be faster than re-entering them all manually.

Where did you get Instant Text?
Like Best Buy or somewhere like that?
Instant Text ?
All you have to do is add VENTILATION PERFUSION SCAN to the glossary. Type it in your document the way you want all caps with a colon or not, etc. and highlight it and press Alt and the +/= sign at the same time to add it to the glossary and then the next time you want it type vps but look at the list and pick the one you want all caps or lower case. You can always delete the lower case version if you do not need it. Let me know if you need more info. Good Luck
Instant Text V Pro
I can give you some info on Instant Text V Pro if you'd like.
The most popular features of IT V Pro include the Importer, the Compilation feature, the Includes feature and Continuations.
The Importer takes abbreviation lists from other sources, such as AutoCorrect, and imports them into IT so you can continue using them without having to start creating a new list from scratch.
The Compilation feature is used to create personalized glossaries by scanning saved documents on your computer and pulling out the most frequently used phrases and words to instantly compile a customized glossary in seconds.
The Includes feature allows you to use more than one glossary at a time.
And the Continuations feature is a feature that brings up what you are likely to type next in your sentence. So for example, if you were to type "The patient", IT will then suggest what you are likely to type next based on what you've typed in the past.
