Do you like cajun seasoning?
I love to sprinkle it on salmon and grill or bake skin side down...it's yummy. The seasoning I use is Emeril's mix called Bayou Blast, I believe. You can probably find it at the Food Network's website.

BTW, what kind of doctor do you go to? Must be a pretty lousy one if s/he has office staff with so little to do that they can play with your kid.

I use the chili seasoning packets.
Brown some ground beef. Add any veggies you want like hot or green peppers, garlic or onions. Add a can of kidney beans, a can of tomato sauce (or stewed tomatoes), and the seasoning packet.

The main ingredient is SamE. It also has Valerian, calcium, magnesium, jujube, magnolia.

READ ingredients!! Anytime you see
(meat) *byproducts* you are getting *and paying for* mystery meat that *you would not choose to feed to your beloved animal* if you could see what it was. It's not far-fetched at all to call it "road-kill!"
Good rule of thumb: Most of the mega-corporations out there making dog/cat food and spending BIG BUCKs for advertisement of how great their product is - are usually the ones most guilty of scamming you by adding unhealthy ingredients.
It's not that difficult to find quality food for your best friends -
Permethrin and Imidacloprid are active ingredients in Advantix
Says even having a cat bathe a doggie sibling could cuz problems.

The book "Food Pets Die For" is an excellent. I have been feeding my goldens and Shelties Innova since 1996 or 1997. I now feed Canidae Platinum as it is lower in calories. They all did quite well on both dog foods...shinny coat, bright eyes...in other words, they are healthy looking. No preservatives are in either food so it does have a shorter shelf life than the regular dog kibbe.
My dogs also have marrow bones every night. Some of my friends feed a BARF diet (bones and raw food) only, but I just could not keep that diet up on a regular basis.
A good magazine to subscribe to is the Whole Dog Journal.. www.whole-dog-journal.com/ it is like a "bible" for any one who is interested in the natural way to care and feed dogs. I believe there is a Whole Cat Journal, too.
Pasta salad
I am making this as we speak.
1lb box rotini pasta
add 1 bag frozen vegetables at the end of cooking time. Your choice. I use California mix, broccli, cauliflower, carrots.
Drain and cool.
When cool add 1 bottle ranch dressing, or pepper ranch, or Italian dressing. Any kind of dressing will do.
Add 1 can sliced olives. Sometimes I add artichoke hearts chopped up, sometimes some pepperoni chopped.
Mix well and chill well. Just before serving I mix in about a 1/4 cup grated cheese.
Delicious.

Chicken Cesar Salad (SM)
I need suggestions on how to cook the chicken for the salad, know how to make the salad, but not the chicken, do not just want plain chicken I was thinking about sauteing the chicken somehow, any suggestions?

Well, it has pasta in it..but tons more.
pasta, any non-string-type you want
olives
artichoke hearts
kidney beans
garbanzo beans
red onion
tomatoes
basil
feta cheese
salami
bread (shepard's loaf in little cubes)
balsamic-based dressing
lasagna, salad, and garlic bread
P.S. - Grape salad makes a wonderful
side dish.

Easy crab salad on crackers
I don't know if everyone would like crab on crackers, but here is a quick recipe just in case.
1 package of Louis Kemp crab
1 small tub of cream cheese
3 to 4 green onions (using the whole stalk)
In a food processor, chop the crab and onions, mix in the cream cheese, and chill overnight. Serve with any kind of crackers.

I found this marvellous Greek salad dressing with feta cheese, made locally, called YiaYia's, and so I've been having lots of salads lately! :) It's still warm enough here (low 80s) to BBQ outdoors, which I love, so I'll do that, save the Foreman grill for when it's cold!

 This doc stutters, stammers, doesn't know how to use the reverse key to make corrections and ...corrects over himself all the time so I have no idea what he REALLY means...
Talks through his nose, buries the words up somewhere in his left sinus I think, drops off the ends of words, I think he EATS that last parts of words so they never get said....
and now tonight he will just say terms like ...Temperature 98.5....then a pause...then Temperature 98.6....then he says I'm sorry....then he just starts in talking about the spine.
It's like standard phrases are just falling out of his mouth as he sits there and he's not even knowing he's saying them and they have no connection to what he's doing.
HE'S DRIVING ME NUTS.....ER than I am.
