Other poster made a good point; we are required to bring original birth certificate at registration. There is absolutely NO need for the school to have SS info, although I did tell the school that if they wanted to start paying for the food, clothing, housing and insurance for my kids, then I would be happy to give them the SS #.

One more bugaboo is that I'm so irritated by the hoops that they make me jump through when I go into the schol to pick up kids for doctor or ortho appts., yet they will just let the kids walk out the door in the middle of day if I send a note saying they are to leave for these appts. Now, which is easier to forge, my signature or my face? All these misplaced good intentions are making me nuts.
