If you want the job

I think it is up to you to decide because you are their employee, you are not independent. You call no shots, they do. They can require you to work in the office if they want and if you do not want to stay, you can leave. The other 2 transcriptionists might be a little jealous of the fact that you are working at home yet they have to show up at the office. You never know, they could have talked with the person who is telling you about what the office wants from you now. I know you are really gonna be shocked about this, but guess what?? Years ago (and some people still do this) we actually worked all the time in the office- no one even thought they had the right to work from home. It is not a given. Since employee, the way I see it is take it or leave it.
