Here's a tip: Put fabric softener and hot water in spray bottle and spray the paper down. Works
They were covered in my MT course, and
I have read hundreds of them (used to work in health insurance claims).
that pretty well covered it....
Are they very quick with getting back with you when you apply? I have 5 years exp and taught one quarter of med trans at a local community college. I'm working in a doc office now (not doing transcription) but want to get back into working at home doing transcription. I had gotten away from it in 2004 because my husband got deployed and I wanted to make sure we had good insurance while he was gone which is why I took the job with the doc office. He was gone for 16 months and is now home and getting ready to take a really good job, which is going to allow me to start working at home again doing transcription. Hoping to hear from them soon. Thanks again for your input!!!
Wow, you have a lot covered in that dish. How about
cottage cheese. Bread of course.
Nay, my back is covered, don't worry about me! nm

Couple of thoughts....I have a covered box as well, and one cat would do the same
thing as yours if I didn't make sure the litter box was clean. (I had 2 cats using it). So, I make sure to dump it out once a day and then spritz in a citrus smellie thing as well as sometimes sprinkle baking soda in the bottom. This, of course, is in between the times before I change out the litter. Also, another idea that may or may not work is to put foil on the mat. My cousin had a cat that started to pee on the spare bed--no known reason--and she learned somewhere about cats not liking to go onto foil. So, she keeps sheets of foil on top of the bed. It works. Maybe also try to catch him in the act and push him all the way into the litter box to re-train him that this is not acceptable, maybe a little spank as you catch him and push him inside. Cats are trainable in some ways.
I have always worked 2 so my butt is covered - sm
Just make it so the your work schedule does not overlap. I generally try to work 1 during the day, and do the other a few hours at night. If I get the one done at night early enough I may start on my other IC jobs work until I get to tired and go to bed. Probably work about 10 hours or so a day with a big break between 3:30 and 7:30 basically. It is not hard to do, just if you slack off at one, then it is hard to get caught back up and stay that way.
Names are not covered. You can call any
hospital and unless the pt is a psych patient, they will tell you if they are a patient or not--unless they have requested the info not be given out.

FeBreeze Air Spray
It eliminates odors in the air rather than covering them up. It comes in a variety of scents so you are bound to find one that you like.
We have a very small kitchen so cooking odors saturate the whole house, plus, to make matters worse, we have a dog so I always use the Febreeze air spray to get rid of odors in the air & regular Febreeze for the sofa, curtains, etc. Its a life saver!!
This stuff should be covered at least a little in your MT program. How are you getting educated? nm

Companies have to be sure they are covered for specific times, many
places have set hours, some have 10 hour window for an 8-hour shift, but they still have to know when you are working, you can't just work whenever you feel like it.
I use Endust Electronics spray...
Look for a blue can. I'd never use anything else. It's also antistatic.
Other than that, you can get those special LCD cleaning kits (they come in packs of wrapped towelettes)-just look in the Office Depot catalog.
Will pepper spray work?
I was considering getting some as the dogs behind me mauled another dog (blind in one eye, collapsed lung, laceration on its front leg, back claws broken off from resisting being pulled under) by pulling it under the fence between the yards. Animal control says we can't do anything as long as the dogs are fenced in. But, it is just a matter of time before they dig a big enough hole to get under the fence - as it is, they look like they can make it over the fence if they try hard enough. Animal control told me to build a privacy fence with my own money. TG we are moving soon. I swear if those dogs come in my yard and get anywhere near my kids, I will be tempted to shoot them. They have bitten two neighbors already.
oh, when done? Spray Lysol Disinfectant...nm

Another thing that matters is the composition of the pavement, concrete vs. blacktop for example. Concrete is porous, and has a tendency to absorb paint into the pores rather than it just sitting on the surface. Heh. Relax, and think how much you would enjoy their little art project 20 years from now. It will wear off eventually.
maybe spray outside the house around the base? NM

try Listerine in a spray bottle
it works in my car. I had problems with ants getting in the car during summer. I was told to spray (soak) the carpet, and WA la... no more ants!!
I do not carry E&O insurance, but I do have my equipment covered under my HO policy.
My office is in my home and, God forbid, there should be a fire, I'd be out of business. I have coverage for my computer, printer, fax, phones and loss of use on a separate rider. Also, should anyone injury themselves coming or going from my office while doing business with me, their injuries are covered. Perhaps this is the information you're looking for.
Maybe my thinking is off here but . . do if I was covered under my husband's bennies program I
I like working at home too much I guess - not really in a rut, just very, very comfy here and like being my own boss all day long. JMHO.
Carry mace or pepper spray for this. (nt)
I just found the best spray for June bugs sm
and spiders, ants and those yukky black and yellow bees that go in the ground. I have June bugs something awful this year, hundreds banging around my house. And those bees were so bad last year I couldn't get in the garden, they had invaded everything and got in the house as well. I talked to a farmer who used this stuff called Suspend. He said it really worked but it was expensive. I found some on the web and mixed a couple gallons and went around the foundation, under the decks and sprayed a bunch in every bee hole I could find and wow, it's like magic. I haven't seen one bee scouting around the holes, no ants in the house anymore or in the gardens and not one spider. We get those big wolf spiders and I found 4 dead ones in the alley. It's great. It's $40.00 for a bottle (I think its a pint) and it makes around 11 gallons. I bought it at http://www.doyourownpestcontrol.com. No, I am not a distributor nor do I make any money off referrals. Just recommending something I finally found has worked.
It was wonderful outside. The butterfly bush is covered with butterflies of all colors. nm

I just dump them in a covered bowl with vinegar and sliced onion. nmx

make shortcuts for stuff like that si in case u forget ur covered

Be careful with pepper spray, you'll get your dogs too
and possibly yourself if the wind is blowing just right. The stuff is extremely powerful and won't just bring down the offending animal.
I agree with calling animal control, as they are the "animal police" and the "people police" won't even bother.
The dog owner needs to be reported whether he was in his yard trying to get his dog back in or not. Sure, maybe the dog "got loose," but he should have at least been decent enough to apologize.
Spray paint is oil based. Regular cleaners
will not remove it. My recommendation is for you to go to the paint department of your local Home Depot or Lowe's and ask them. They should be very knowledgable about it. I used to work in the paint department at Home Depot, but it was a loooooong time ago, so I cannot remember what product you should use.

You're probably right. Plus we're losing our percentage of good people by .... (sm)
allowing every loser from every 3rd world country on the planet to just stroll on into our country, some legally, most illegally, and take advantage of the social services all us hard working little gerbils pay for by having money taken out of our pay every month. But I don't think we're all lazy. Just the ones on permanent welfare driving around town in brand-new Cadillac Escalades. Saw one just today on the Bayshore Fwy. Brand-new black Escalade with expensive spinner wheels, with 5 or 6 Mexicans in it. Well, who knows - maybe they stole it and it was on its way to a chop-shop. Smart-and-hungry people aren't always hard-working and honest.

You're forgetting all the stuff you can't buy when you're UNEMPLOYED!
Unemployed people have a hard time buying anything, including cheaply made offshore products. How many will have to end up depending on public assistance? That means more tax dollars being eaten up - besides the taxes NOT being collected from the overseas workers. In the long run, are you really enjoying a lower price?
If you're on the job, ask for samples to do it how they want it. If you're testing, separate o

You're not losing it, you're burned out on your main job.
I feel for you... I am having my own "version" ;-) of these kinds of struggles. Lots of recent changes at the admin level have made my job do a 180, going from a really great one to a really crappy one.
For me, it's a struggle to get through the day with a shred of motivation. I get distracted in the way you discuss as well.
I just try to make my environment as comfortable as possible and make the best of it while I decide what the best way is to deal with the burnout... I figure if I can't change my inner brain workings so that I still like this job, I need to find another one, or this feeling will possibly get worse!
I hope it works out for you. Wish I had some better advice for you, but this really does look like burnout and extreme job dissatisfaction to me. We all wear it differently. Try to be good to yourself while you figure out a solution.
Don't know what you're complaint you're making with this post. sm
You stated in your original post that you don't want to work weekends or odd shifts. What is your definition of an odd shift? Second shift? Third shift? Sounds like you want to work M-F on days. Sounds kind of rigid to me.
Personally I like second shift, so everyone working days means more work for me!
