If 200 lph is "normal"

without interruptions, it would take 5 hours to do 1000 lpd. Throw in a 4 yo and of course it is going to take longer.

I understand your situation. I have a 3-1/2 yo at home full time, but no other family, which means no one to entertain her but me. I've been doing this for almost as long as you. My production was much higher when I worked in DOS WP and every report was included in a single file. When I moved into a Windows environment with starting a new report with new demographics as a new file, my production slowed.

I plan my work time around play activities, videos and naps and that helps me to better manage my time, but still it does feel like it takes forever to meet my production quota.

By normal I meant NOT sexually perverted, NOT socially inept, NOT desperate, etc.

I also posted later that maybe I misunderstood what the original poster was talking about. I originally thought she meant internet dating in general, but now it seems more like she means married men looking for "friends" online, which is totally different and not at all anything I have any knowledge of.

I have no idea, though, what your comment about "DC" is regarding. I didn't say anything at all about a "DC."

Well, define "normal"? lol
single parent, head of household, own a house, itemize ... around $4800 usually.
Normally, if reslts are not "normal" they
do not want to give them over the phone, they want to discuss them with you in person, as maybe a phone call would not be sufficient, especially if they want to actually show you the films.
I know they're probably not "normal." The
diagnosis for the MRI was AVN of the hip, so I'm pretty sure the report is not normal.  I live about 1-1/2 hours from this doctor's office and was not happy with the whole situation in the office.  They changed my appointment once, then called and informed me that I needed to be there an hour earlier than planned.  I had to take off work earlier than planned for this.  When I got to the office,  I had to sit and wait to see the doctor until the original appointment time anyway.  So, I'm not sure I even want to go back to home.  If the MRI shows something that can be handled locally, I would much rather go to the local orthopedist as to travel 1-1/2 hours to see him.
It MIGHT be stored somewhere in your "normal" template...
... but I don't have time to research that right now. Try clearing out the address, and then try re-saving your normal template. If you are not familiar with how to do that, check the "help" files, or you can always post a question (or search the topics) on the Productivity Talk board. (I don't have the URL handy; you can Google it.)

I know I've done this very thing but I'll be darned if I can remember exactly how I did it... it was long ago... :)

I charge the same amount for a "normal" report as for any other report.
You still have to listen to the dictation and change anything that's different.  I had one woman try to pull this on me.  She'd dictate, "Just pull up my normal, but change this, change that, switch that around, move that, add this, delete that, and change the other."  Then she'd only want to pay me what equated to $.03 per line.  She wanted 1:1 on her dictation to transcription ratios.  I told her to take her cheap account down the road because I'm worth more than that.
