I used to use PRD (for years) and then sometimes Shortcuts. It took me three horrible days, but now it is good and works for me.. Importer thru the importer your old glossary. The directions are in your instruction book. If you can't find it you just right click the phrases bar on the grey part and choose import on the menu. It is easy to follow after that. What got to me was that I had many entries that used a number instead of a letter and in IT you can't do that. So, before you get your glossary in, go through it and when you come to a thing like 2dy (secondary for me) change it to dy2. Or for Prolene I had to change from 4op to p40, p30, etc. After that, if you keep the changes you have to make constant you will learn it fast. If your glossary is big, allow 8 lines in the advisory to show so you can choose. There are still things in the program that I haven't had time to play with because I am so busy, but it works great for me now, although I have to say I love PRD the best because of its ease of use and ability to use function keys to pick up templates or whatever else you want to pick up or look up. Just get that glossary in and give yourself a few days. You should be okay. I will say that the customer support at IT is THE VERY BEST of anything out there in the software world. MaryAnne and Chris are terrific and ALWAYS return you calls and/or emails. They also have a great website. Good luck!
