I have an MT friend who is trying to get an IRA rolled over from a company that has all but gone out of business. We both worked for this company and everyone experienced some kind of problem with them at one time or another - it was a very unstable situation. However, isn't there some type of control over the IRA accounts. Does anyone know who she should contact. She sent the paperwork to the company and they have refused to sign it as the trustee to release her funds. Any help would be appreciated.
