I agree with you. The company you work for has to get the reports back to the client quickly. It would be difficult if you could not depend on your ICs to get their work done as they have agreed to. I have not followed my schedule, but I do work other hours, like nights, weekends, early mornings. I do not give excuses. I did, however, inform my supervisor of my situation. I am grateful that this company is so understanding. I SUFFER from narcolepsy. I would not wish this on my worst enemy! It has ruined my life. I am thankful every day that I can work from home and punch out if I have to. If it wasn't for my IC status, I would not be able to hold down a job. I know that my situation is unique, and that ICs should try as hard as possible to get in their line count/hours. Believe me, I cannot wait for the day that I can stay wake for 12 straight hours without medications.
