What company are you going to be doing IC for? I worked for Focus Infomatics as an IC, and it was not much different than working an hourly job...I don't recall having to do anything special with my taxes at all. I got a normal pay check every 2 weeks, and the only difference was that I worked when I felt like it, rather than having a set schedule, that and I made more per line, but did not care for the work I was doing for the company as they were mostly all ESL dictators.
