Ivette once...sorta gave me the chills. I liked Kaysar the best out of the three though. It should be interesting tonight.

There is something wrong with all those people who are hooked on Eric in the house-like a cult or something. I didn't think there was anything special about him-in fact I thought he was rather bossy and daddy-like, trying to tell everyone what to do. I like Kaysar and I don't really think he was going to hit Ivette or anything, she basically acused him of some harsh things and sort of came at him like a man would so he reacted like a man and she deserved it I thought.

He asked for it, I died when he let go of that button!! I knew it was coming. Basically, these people are idiots, they should have still gotten rid of James, because he is a "stronger" competetive player. Kaysar is VERY smart, but not as hard to beat in competitions as James. Kaysar did this to himself this time, sad to say. And why can't they keep their word... these people know they are playing for a million bucks. Jen still has her partner. I think she was trying to show that she was not afraid to stir the pot.

I voted for Kaysar at my 6-year-old's insistence. I really like him, too, though. You are right the whole thing with Eric is a little off. As far as that thing with Ivette, I don't think he was going to hit her. And just because she is female doesn't mean it is okay for her to get in people's faces and talk the way she does.
I don't know what the allure is of this show. I am so glad they added this twist bringing somebody back.

I don't think it was the Christianity that got her voted off. I
really believed she had an off night with that country song. My DH thought I was nuts. I wish I had recorded Tuesday night when I told him after the show that my bottom 3 were Taylor, Bucky and Mandisa. Bucky lacks verbal articulation to make it. Mandisa and Taylor both just had a bad night, in my opinion. Of course, you will notice that of my bottom 3 only 1 was right. I really liked her too and can't wait for her CD.

That's 1 reason why I voted for Obama -
stay in this business is if the tax breaks are ended and the loopholes closed for companies that outsource what used to be good American jobs. Ending offshoring entirely would be nice, but I doubt it'll happen. But it should cost less for companies to hire American workers at a decent, livable wage, than it does to send it offshore. Offshoring should be something they do in a pinch, not as a standard practice. Yeah, so what if they're making more money the way they're doing it now. Doesn't make it right. They're greedy and they're un-American when they put thousands of hard-working American MT's in the poorhouse, or out of a job.

I don't know what politics has to do with my post. I only posted that I greatly increased my personal line rate per hour with sitting my butt down and actually doing my work and not finding other little things to do.
Yes, there are days when I want to pull my hair out with my ESLs and there are days when everything flows just fine. I am in the same boat as everyone else as an MT. And the things you are mentioning are beyond your control - I was increasing my line count with the one thing that is within my control - staying seated and typing.

is CRAZY Ivette. I LOVE Howie and want him to win. Nobody else but Howie has entertained me on this show. So cute and funny when he pretended he was going to kiss Beau. W/O Howie, I can't watch it even if Kaysar comes back. Don't like that entire Cappy groupie scene. Do you think CBS will bring back a firefighter hero instead of an Iraq guy for ratings though? I know we are supposed to decide but I doubt that is true in the end.

lots of them and very quickly IF this is what is happening. Six Sigma management tends to cut the fat and thin the herd by "survival of the fittest." In other words, expect it to be harder to achieve a high quality score, incentive bonuses, quality bonuses, etc., because they will up the ante with respect to that At least that was my experience with Edix...and no, I'm not a sloppy MT barking about sour grapes. That's just the way it was.

If new Career Step grads are not ready to work, why are so many of them getting multiple job offers? Some get four or five offers within a month of graduation. In the real world, the marketplace will determine who is ready to work and who is not. Whether or not a given MT is prepared to work is between her and her employer. AAMT is sticking its nose into an area where it is neither needed nor wanted, and they would not be doing this if there were not profit in it for them. If they want to do something for us, let's see them do something to stop the offshoring of our medical records. If they were showing real leadership on this and other substantitve issues, our salaries would not be declining. We cannot trust the AAMT.

I know that I am in no way ready to do this on my own. Others have said I should cut out the sm

I want to get at least 2-3 years experience under someone else before I go out looking for my own accounts. I'm not ready to be responsible for everything yet.
