I used it for a while

I took the time to train the speech recognition in Word 2003 and used it for about a month, typing in Word, with about 75% to 80% accuracy, but found I could type way faster. You listen to the dictator, then repeat what the dictator says (can be tough with a dictator who is constantly changing what he says or a dictator who is hard to understand), then go back and correct. More time than just typing the dictation at least in my experience. In other words, I could type the sentence in the time it takes to repeat the sentence dictated, not to mention the time it takes correcting what Speech messed up, which adds up at the end of the day even with 75% to 80% accuracy. It did not increase my production even with good dictators and with bad dictators severly decreased production. I am glad I tried the Word 2003 softeware (free) to find out what it was all about before I wasted money on Dragon.
I do, however, use it when typing a letter, email, etc., it works fine for that.
