Cyberplayer from Sylvan Software and love it. I, too, hated ES so looked for something else. They give you a free trial to try to see if you like it or not. It's kind of expensive at $145 but well worth it. I also tried WavPlayer from Bytescribe but didn't like it because you had to click on the voice file box before you could change volume and speed which I did not like.
