I have a phone call in to the realtor. I am going to try to rent the house I want to buy for one year. I don't know if this will fly, but all they can say is no. My realtor emailed and said this would be fine, but of course, he wants his commission. I think if I rent for one year with portion towards rent, small down paying off 2005 RE taxes, that seller may go for it. If I can use portion of rent towards downpayment that will therefore increase my downpayment even more when it comes time to purchase it in a year, thus lowering my payment a tad bit. Plus the rent will be lower than my payment would have been for a year giving me room to breathe with expenses. And, I'll get the house I want and will be away from BF.
