I think Sudafed might be regulated now.

I find when I take severe cold Sudafed I definitely focus better, and you can get that on the shelf no problem. But, the other day I saw a woman try to get Sudafed behind the counter at Walmart pharmacy and they have a database where you can't get more than a certain amount per month b/c they keep track of every purchase you make and when. This lady then tried to get the generic allergy medication and they said get a Rx from the doc if she needed more than what was allowed per month, that for even the generic allergy you can't get more than a certain amount per month. Made me wonder about regulations. This was in Florida, btw, don't know if this regulatory behavior is state to state, but perhaps there is some substance in certain things which may be illicit drug related.

Sudafed
Does it help with ADHD? And, if so, can you sleep at night? Any ADHD meds I've been on have made my chest hurt, so have been taken off them. I really don't have the H component, more the ADD parts.

Yes, I'm blue too. The last week or so has been tough. Could be that even though we hear it's Spring, it's still snowing out here in the west. :)
Sudafed

I just noticed that if I take a Sudafed in the morning (as I did for congestion recently) I was able to focus better.  Obviously, I wouldn't make a habit of it, that can't be good, but it has worked a couple of times.  I took it again once and felt better able to concentrate on household work.  Gee, isn't that what they make meth from???  Guess that's kind of scary.

My husband is sensitive to smells, he takes Sudafed Sinus which helps him with the headache
I have sensitivity problems too but like you I never know what is going to set me off, I don't get headaches though, I get hives and chills, real fun. Luckily it only happens about once a year and its been about 3 years since my last episode.
