I usually use Smart Type and I love it. I have accepted an IC position where they use Chartnet and I must start using IT with that software. I am using the same library and it has gone like clockwork so far. I am not having issues adjusting to it...EXCEPT with punctuation.
In ST if you type a word and then realize you need to hit a period or a comma, the Expander backs up a space and puts in the punctuation for you. I don't know if it is ChartNet or IT, but I am fighting having to back up and put in a comma or a period.
Is there a way to fix this? I am not terribly familiar with the IT and I can't find my manual to answer this question. I can't imagine it doesn't do this for you, but I don't know how to fix it.
Many thanks in advance.

ITVPRO help pretty please
I run my Expander stuff on the left side and something on the right that has whole words. I use them both. I don't like to put medications into the expander part for many reasons. I'd love to put them on the right hand side list...but I don't know how. I have read the manual and I am just as confused and no closer.
How does one get an entry into the glossary that runs on the right side?
Many thanks.
I think I am in love with DocQScribe and ITVPro sm
I am, I guess, up to speed on my new job using DQS. Made my lines from day one, but today...first half of my shift I did 800 lines and had some crappy cellphone dictations that slowed me down.
When I topped out at 150 lph at my last job, I thought it was my hands. Apparently it was the platform that was so bad, not my hands going fried.
The last week before that other job died, I prayed: God don't let anything change unless it is going to be a lot better. That seemed to help my attitude through a rough job change. Yes, it is way better.
ITVPro also works in any Windows application sm
If you find you need a glossary, write me and I'll send you mine. Only about 19K to 20K strong and I have used for about 12 years.
