Can I ask how you sit there for 8 hours. Lately, I'm having a motivation problem. When I focus, I can rack up the lines, but lately, I get so easily distracted. My mind wanders and I struggle to get my lines. Any tips on how you stay productive who do you work for?? I work for Transcend.
How bout meatballs???
I have made meatballs in the crock pot and it couldn't be easier. Use your favorite homemade meatball recipe, brown them in a frying pan, and place them in your crockpot with a couple jads or so of your favorite sauce (depending on how big your crockpot is). In about 2 or 3 hours your meatballs are done and the sauce tastes totally homemade!!! No need to stir the meatballs so they never break apart. Good luck on whatever you decide to make!!! 
A bag of jelly beans is one of my favorites.
Use a large clear bag (if you can't find a clear trash bag, a drycleaning bag will work but does tear easily), cut holes in the bottom of the bag for your feet to go through and fasten the top around your neck. Fill with a variety of colors of small balloons. The small ballooons used for water balloons (however just fill them with air) work great. Take the label from a bag of jelly beans and enlarge it on the copy machine and either trace it onto the front of the costume or could even just adhere the copy to the costume. Doesn't work well if you have to travel very far in a car or have to sit very much, however!
A few sour grapes won't ruin the whole jar of jelly.

I love the peach Nehi too. You can make some really good ice cream using what ever flavor Nehi you want and two cans of Eagle Brand.

I have to admit that is a bit over the top. But my point was that unions are there to protect the workers and make sure they get a fair and decent wage for the work they do. If workers aren't protected, corporates would have everyone working for slave labor kind of like MT is now. Yes, MT is production paid and we all knew this when we signed on but we aren't protected and our pay keeps getting driven down by corporate. At least unions have negotiations with corporates - give a little, get a little. Compromise. We MTs have NOTHING. We have no say in decisions being made, even when those decisions negatively impact our jobs. I know as an MT I would never agree to ILP or ASR as those two decisions are the downfall of our industry, only my opinion of course. Corporate keeps making these decisions that will only benefit them and their own pocketbooks. They are not looking out in the best interest of MTs because they don't have to. As I said in my previous post, they keep chipping away at our jobs little by little because nobody is stopping them. But if we as a whole had some sort of organized leadership negotiating on our behalf, then maybe we could stop ASR and ILP from taking all our jobs and the MT industry could once again be a respected profession that we could actually make a decent living at like it used to be.

I eat jelly belly jelly beans to keep me going and it works! Love working at home in my office off my bedroom and do not miss communting one bit especially with the winter upon us soon!

If you would try the Sugar Buster diet you'd
be surprised at the energy you will have. You'll notice a difference in about 3 days. I'm fixing to start it again because while I get up fine in the morning, after about 2 hours I hit a wall and it takes me about 2 hours to get past it where I can work again. The only problem is I still have 2 hours left in my morning shift when I hit that wall so need to be working.
Anyway the diet will give you lots of energy - similar to being on energy drinks, it will be healthier for you and if you need to lose a few pounds you can do that too.
ROFL! Using sugar to fuel your MT fingers?
I will admit to having a jar of Bit o' Honeys and Hershey kisses on my desk, but I only have one per day. I'm happy right where I am, too. I love working at home. We've got huge windows and a sliding glass door, and I have total control of the thermostat. It's nothing like any of my other jobs where it was always too hot or too cold and we never got to see the daylight.

Boric acid plus same amount of sugar to
get the ants to take the boric acid (Mule Team Borax). Works like a charm. We had carpenter ants years ago, and exterminator wanted $700 back then to get rid of them. As just a fluke, I was listening to a radio talkshow after the call to the $700 exterminator, and they mentioned Mule Team Borax with same amount of sugar applied around the house, and make sure children or pets will not get into it.

Caffeine and sugar had negative effect
My experience with trying to remain alert during 3rd shift: I was trying to perk myself up with caffeine and sugar, but also found that I actually became MORE tired as a result. Apparently, there's a biochemical explanation for this, due to the effect of caffeine and sugar on my insulin/blood sugar response. Both caffeine and sugar cause an initial rise in blood sugar, but then a serious slump in blood sugar occurs, causing me to be even more tired than before. So, I gave up the coffee and, after 3 days of withdrawal symptoms with horrendous headaches and fatigue, am having much more success staying awake during 3rd shift. I have also found that a protein drink or snack is a much better solution. Also, I am told that there are stimulants that do not affect the central nervous system as caffeine does, such as guarana, which I have not tried yet.
Also, it took me at least six weeks to adjust my body clock. I figured out that I had to sleep at the same time every day for several hours, at least 7, and couldn't just take a few naps during the day and then expect to stay awake at night.
The only reason I choose to work at night is because the pay is better; otherwise, I wouldn't do it. I look forward to someday having a decent account with a decent pay with a 24-hour turnaround time. I realize this is a fantasy.

I have never trusted that woman. She answers too quickly. Other psychics will stop and listen, or honestly say they don't know. S. Brown has an answer for everyone. I think she just wants to sell books. I heard that she told the kidnapped Missouri boys parents that he was dead between two rocks. She said the culprit was dark, Hispanic, and had dreadlocks. That is a horrible thing to make up and tell parents who have a missing child. I prefer the guidance offered by Gary Zukow. He is not a psychic but he talks about living your life in harmony also.

If you can be positive about this relationship, you can be positive about yourself and meeting someone else. Remember, your gut feeling is what's right, and I think I know what your gut is telling you or you wouldn't be posting this in the first place, you just need someone to back you up. Don't waste any more time. & don't talk about THE REST OF YOUR LIFE -- you have choices you can make in this too as much as he has the choice to do/not do something -- it's just that you have the choice to stay in this stagnent pool of muck or get out, clean yourself off and never return to the dirty pool. Who knows what the future holds for you, but if you stay with him it will just be this same cycle over and over again, unfortunately. I say cut your losses now.

I JUST read that myself on the AP ...I have not been one to judge quickly because there is so much blame game going on but this.......it's just inexcusable and if proven (which I'm believing it to be if the AP has the memo), then Mike Brown not only needs to lose his job immediately but also needs to stand trial for negligent homicide in all the deaths that could have been prevented IF he had not worried about his "wording, CYA he was doing" in that memo, thank God for the common folk who had the decency to start with their humanitarian efforts and got down there when they did and despite.FEMA. I also heard that several companies like Wal-mart and RV companies were turned away because of not having the proper contracts ready, duh...FEMA did not provide them

found what looks like black widows out in my yucca bush. Scared the tar out of me. Now, I can deal with the snakes, but spiders sent me screaming. Spent some time on the internet looking them up but they might be black jumping spiders. They look to hairy to be black widows, otherwise the look a lot alike.
