I tell them that even after taking extensive schooling, you are still very lucky if you can find a job as most companies will not hire newbies. I explain that most places want 2 to 5 years of experience. After I go into detail about my job and what it involves, their belief changes quickly. If I mention going to school, most people just say "Oh" and that is the end of that. Most people dont want to work for anything!
