I don't, but my neighbors do and all it does is bark
yap, yap, yap, yap all day long. Enough to drive anyone nuts. My kids have nicknamed him "Yappy." A woman I work for also has one and hers yaps all day long too.
So if you don't mind the constant yapping, go for it They're still awful cute even with their little jaw flapping. :)
They don't always bark for a reason
Everywhere I've ever lived (and I've moved around like a rolling stone) there has been at least one dog in the vicinity that barked to enjoy the sound of its own voice. Plenty of them bark out of sheer boredom, just like people who run their mouths to fill the silence. Many of them do it when their owners are gone, and behave when their owners come home.
I've had to train all my dogs not to bark. Kudos to people who at least make an effort. A lump of coal to those who don't feel happy without the din of several yapping dogs 24/7. Its noise pollution, give other people a break and train your dogs.
It is disturbing the peace if they bark incessantly.
We have a bark collar for our dog and bring her in if she's barking. She barks at anyone that walks by, which is what I want because she's our guard dog. Our neighbors aren't so nice. I've gotten to the point where I just lean out the window and yell, "SHUT UP!!!!" I don't like to involve the cops or animal control because our neighbors are the type to retaliate.
Buy a bark breaker from pet supply catalog (sm)
PetEdge (they are also online) sells a couple of products for kennels that issue corrective noises for barking. You can install certain models outside aimed at the nuisance and it might train him not to bark.

Sounded fishy to me
They are both identical, polite and too exact and to me sounded like it was someone attempting to appear to be American. Maybe I am a skeptic but that is my gut feeling.

But, it is like I traded 1 problem for another. I did feel like I was being jilted. They never gave raises, they never delivered what was promised, they played favorites, but the money was better than what I am making now. I had to dip out of my retirement account to pay off some bills. I just couldn't make the monthly payments anymore. I am still not able to get health insurance. I just cannot afford it. Sometimes, I wonder if I should not have taken the heat and stayed. I talked to my ex supe today and it almost made me ill, so I won't go back. I did not even ask.

You can either work harder and refuse to accept crap for yourself or you can get angry and bitter, which is what you've apparently done. If you're talking about turning in soda bottles for deposits, people are naturally going to deduct from that that you are or have been poor. You said it, I didn't. Brings back memories! I had a computer fan that sounded like a mini helicopter! Kept
calling my company and having them "listen". They weren't concerned. It did actually blow up one day - a little mini "poof" of fire, 2 seconds of light smelly smoke, and she was dead!! A goner! Never heard it before, never heard it after, but one did make noise and it died a month later!

Of course, we all need gas, and as another poster noted, just not buying gas on a certain day will not work.
What I heard is, buy your gas from a small-time operation, as opposed to Exxon, BP, etc. This will cause them to lower their prices, and the smaller companies with follow by lowering theirs.
Also, noticed yesterday that gas has come down by about .50 in my area. I wasn't surprised, because when I have to go out, there's much, much less traffic...I would estimate by 75% of normal, so folks are boycotting in a way already... cutting down on their trips, combining trips, etc., because they just draw the line at the point prices had risen.
The last I heard
Huntsville Hospital transcription was a pill to work for. I worked with a lady one time who had quit the hospital because after they had agreed to give her vacation at a certain time months in advance they told her she couldn't take it and she had to cancel her vacation plans. They may have improved the way they do business by now but not sure. I would do more research if at all possible.
Heard something
Instead of the bonus being in the 10/1 paycheck, it is supposed to be in the 11/15 paycheck. Of course part of all of it was that you have to be with the company in order to receive it...you leave, you lose. Only half of the employees qualified, which is curious. I know a lot of people left after they restructured they pay plan and the hew hires get their $1000 bonus so I'm confused as to how it saves them money. I guess they are thinking they are about to have another exodus when the bonuses are given out and the new people won't be there long enough to qualify for the next quarterly bonus.

Just a few that get to me...along with the phrase "24/7, 365"... Not sure why that one gets on my nerves, but it does! "Team player" is another one! and the best yet...to me, my boss uses the phrase that she is going to "tickle" something...meaning mark it for future reference (I think).. not really sure about that phrase either!

85% for no spaces compared to spaces being counted. Not sure if that is a correct number. I know there is a chart somewhere that breaks it all down.
