put a little white vinegar is a bowl and set it out.
Vinegar is a great neutralizer.  I always have my stove exhaust fan on when cooking odorous foods and if possible I open a window.   We had someone housesit for us who smoked in the house, even though they were told they couldn't.   I'm very sensitive to cigarette smoke and we had to wash all the surfaces with vinegar.   I had a used car dealer tell me one time when I was complaining about a smell in a used car to cut an apple in half and put it under the seat, so maybe an apple would work too.
Keep a shallow bowl of apple cider vinegar on the counter.
This is something my mom did - worked for her, works for me. I set a small, shallow bowl of vinegar on the back of the stove or tucked into a corner on the cupboard. It cuts the odor down to almost nothing and keeps it gone. Plus, it's a whole lot cheaper than the over-perfumed stuff from the store.
Can I actually just buy sliced bread and line the bottom?...
x
To your liking.. i used one about the size of a tennis ball and just sliced into
"rings."
Any kind of pasta, you can add sliced black olives,
diced celery, onion, etc., then pour Cheese Fantastico salad dressing all over and mix together well.  Chill until ready to serve.  This is a big HIT with my family.
hamburger steak with onions, sliced tomatoes, mashed spuds. NM
x
When you say slice onions, do you mean like one whole onion?
x
Vinegar, perhaps? SM
I don't have a black sink, but for my fixtures, mirror, etc., I keep a squirt bottle with vinegar in the bathroom and wipe everything down once a day - SHINY!
I would try using vinegar
and there is also a product available at Wal-Mart called Out (found in both baby and pet sections). It is one of those bio odor cleaners, and works well for pet odors, but I would try wiping it down really well with vinegar first.
A big bowl of Cheerios for me. sm
Turkey for hubby.  Turkey puts me to sleep and can't be tired. Trying to get caught up. Getting nowhere.
and/or Calif onion dip...happy new year...nm

nothing wrong with md saying dump.....sm

although not baby related, there is a diagnosis called dumping syndrome so if this doc said the baby took a dump in his arms and then quieted down, I see nothing wrong with that......

50/50 alcohol/vinegar
Works for me!
Heck, I just dump it in! sm
I think I used one part (maybe a cup) ice cream and just enough milk to keep it thick (about 1/8 to 1/4 cup) and poured in the chocolate syrup, added the banana and pureed it in my blender. I like my shakes thick so I experimented. If I had too much I poured it in a bowl and ate it with a spoon. I gained weight in a hurry eating them and they tasted better than Ensure. I gagged on that stuff.
this is not the norm, dump them
Really now... nobody checks my work.
Operating with only one beater in the bowl.

SUPER BOWL COUNT-DOWN!

Super Bowl is on but I have to work.....
I hear everyone out front watching and having a good time.  Well, they probably think I'm upset because I have to be back here working, but secretly I'm GLAD I have to work.  I'd rather watch reruns of Mayberry RFD than football.  I'd even rather have to work!

We just got done having our Super Bowl Party
My friend and I usually don't watch, I don't like football, but we always have a fun party. This game was actually exciting. And me being from NY, I was glad the Giants won.
One quick question - I saw the two garlic clarified, how about the onion?

Bean, cheese, onion, and jalapeno burrito

Dump him, and get your life back together
Dump him!!   Do whatever it takes!  Think about your kids and what they will go through growing up around this clod if you stay with him.   I was in a similar situation about 16 years ago.  Didn't have kids with the BF but he was an alcoholic and prone to violent outbursts.   it wasn't easy to dump him because he tried like hell to get back with me, but I was determined to be rid of him and finally he left me alone.  You must be determined as well.  Make up your mind, stick to your guns, and - this is important - get some family, friend, and pastoral support because you really need it right now.     I'm praying for you.  Keep us posted.
I had to dump IT. Could not learn it after 6 months.
Went to shorthand, had it down in a few days and it will do everything IT does if you program it that way. Half the price, too.
Try straight white vinegar. sm
I use it all the time. Of course, the smell is horrible but at least it is better than some of that stuff you buy in the store.  I usually rinse it real well after and then dry everything.
wonder if olive oil and a smatter of vinegar would

Vinegar also takes smell out. sm

I always use vinegar when I need to get a smell out.

Whenever I burn popcorn in the microwave, I fill a coffee cup full of vinegar and set it in the microwave.  It always takes the smell out.

I've steam cleaned pet soil out of my carpet using vinegar and baking soda, and the odor always goes away.

Topaz is right, dump ADHI - see msg
ADHI is the new name for the AAMT after it was run into the ground.  Practices are the same.  This organization is suffering and needs members and money.  They do not care about the American MT and will sell you out in a second with one hand while taking your money with the other.
Food coloring in the bowl....they LOVE it!
x
Onion soup mix, 1/2 cup Madiera wine, carrots, potatoes.

Cook roast slowly (325 for about 3 hours, add the potatoes and carrots, cook another hour, and serve.

Or just slice onions on top the roast, add about 1/2 cup water, put in covered dutch oven, cook same as above, adding potatoes and carrots.
I dunno. I sure do miss my Selectric and those onion-skin copies. nm
nm
sure there would, some folks dont like to do certain worktypes and will dump all others..
x
So dump the companies or accounts that won't compensate. (nm)

Drench it with vinegar. It won't take the color out, and the smell will be gone. You can also add

baking soda to the vinegar.  It works really well.

I use vinegar for anything with a smell.  If the trash can starts to smell, I pour vinegar in the bottom and let it sit overnight.  Then I just rinse it out in the morning.

Also, if you burn popcorn in the microwave, you can pour vinegar into a coffee cup and put it in the microwave.  Then let it sit in the microwave overnight.  By morning, the smell will be gone.

Even if McAfee shows under security, I'd dump it. sm
A lot of the ISPs nowadays have incorporated Spyware protection, spam protection, popup blockers, etc., so much of what McAfee claims to do is simply not needed. It bogs down your computer and takes up space, and it is next to impossible to get rid of with a simple uninstall. There are two great free antivirus programs, Avast and AVG, though I would spring and buy the profession version if the PC is used for work. Run those in conjunction with Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware scans and a good firewall, and you should be adequately covered. Do a Google search for a good "techie" forum and ask some questions there. They can give you good advice about each program's pros and cons and what the best combination is for you. Or even call someplace like Geek Squad, though they might charge for advice.

My advice to anyone would be don't add anything to your computer without fully researching it. I speak from experience because I once downloaded a antivirus/antispyware program that was heavily advertised on TV and it ended up crashing my computer. It was a virus itself! Lesson learned the hard way, I tell ya! I now research any new software much like I'd research a company before working for them.
They were covered in my MT course, and
I have read hundreds of them (used to work in health insurance claims).
my grandmother used vinegar diluted with water on my hair
whenever there was a problem with lice.
I'll be watching Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet!
.
i'd worry more about that's getting into the food, from the bowl. Microwave doesn't sound

that pretty well covered it....
Are they very quick with getting back with you when you apply? I have 5 years exp and taught one quarter of med trans at a local community college. I'm working in a doc office now (not doing transcription) but want to get back into working at home doing transcription. I had gotten away from it in 2004 because my husband got deployed and I wanted to make sure we had good insurance while he was gone which is why I took the job with the doc office. He was gone for 16 months and is now home and getting ready to take a really good job, which is going to allow me to start working at home again doing transcription. Hoping to hear from them soon. Thanks again for your input!!!
Wow, you have a lot covered in that dish. How about
cottage cheese. Bread of course.
Our local dump takes old computers for disposal for 5 bucks. Try that.

I pick it up, shake it, and dump the crumbs out. If that doesn't work sm

I email my company and they overnight a new one.  I go through keyboards about every three months. They take a beating, but I produce a lot of lines.

Nay, my back is covered, don't worry about me! nm

Chocolate-covered strawberries.....Yum Yum!!!

Couple of thoughts....I have a covered box as well, and one cat would do the same
thing as yours if I didn't make sure the litter box was clean. (I had 2 cats using it). So, I make sure to dump it out once a day and then spritz in a citrus smellie thing as well as sometimes sprinkle baking soda in the bottom. This, of course, is in between the times before I change out the litter. Also, another idea that may or may not work is to put foil on the mat. My cousin had a cat that started to pee on the spare bed--no known reason--and she learned somewhere about cats not liking to go onto foil. So, she keeps sheets of foil on top of the bed. It works. Maybe also try to catch him in the act and push him all the way into the litter box to re-train him that this is not acceptable, maybe a little spank as you catch him and push him inside. Cats are trainable in some ways.
I have always worked 2 so my butt is covered - sm
Just make it so the your work schedule does not overlap. I generally try to work 1 during the day, and do the other a few hours at night. If I get the one done at night early enough I may start on my other IC jobs work until I get to tired and go to bed. Probably work about 10 hours or so a day with a big break between 3:30 and 7:30 basically. It is not hard to do, just if you slack off at one, then it is hard to get caught back up and stay that way.
Names are not covered. You can call any
hospital and unless the pt is a psych patient, they will tell you if they are a patient or not--unless they have requested the info not be given out.

You could bathe with a gentle shampoo or even dish detergent, rinse well and if you have vinegar do

a vinegar rinse and then do a final rinse.   This might drown the fleas or at least stun them.  If dog is light colored you might be able to see them and pick them off when dog is wet.   If you have a dog brush, brush it outside and you might get some off that way.  If you have tea tree oil you can put some around its neck area or on a collar if you have one.   This is a fairly strong smell though and we've always had to wash it off the same day, though lots of people swear by this.   I can't think of anything else you can do with stuff you already have around the house.

We adopted 3 kittens from the shelter and have never had a flea problem, but now we can't seem to get rid of them and my dog is on 3 different treatments and I still find an occasional flea.  She has developed a sensitivity to bites too and scratches all the time and can't take prednisone because she has Cushings.

Growing up we had a tri-colored Pembroke corgi.  He was the sweetest thing and I still miss him terribly, 30 years later.

This stuff should be covered at least a little in your MT program. How are you getting educated? nm
,
Companies have to be sure they are covered for specific times, many
places have set hours, some have 10 hour window for an 8-hour shift, but they still have to know when you are working, you can't just work whenever you feel like it.
