"offenders" live two doors down from me! I have been awakened at 2 in the morning even with all the windows closed and the AC running! I call the "nonemergency" number and they are very nice and always go out there. But the neighbors have gotten wise and I think they have a police scannter now because they always stop right before the cops come! It is ridiculous!
On the subject of not understanding English........my son who is a firefighter went to a call one night where the police were also there. They were all supposedly non English speakers. Well the cop had a bunch lined up who "no abla" and the officer told them if they didn't cooperate she was going to shoot the one in the brown shoes! Well guess what? They all looked down at their shoes when he said that. This "no abla" (or however you spell it) business is baloney. They understand more than you think. Personally I wish the neighbors 2 and 3 doors down would move. They have destroyed the rental houses, and it is a mess. Makes the whole neighborhood look really bad. I keep praying somebody will buy all that and tear it down and build a new house! I will go help them! haha
