I have an amplifier-type device that I bought from Best Buy. It's made by Creative. It has several controls on it that enable you to go from what I hear as a "3D-type voice" or I can switch to sound like it's a "talk directly in my ear" type of sound. Really helps if you have 1 dictator that whispers and another that yells. It plugs into the USB port and you can use it with either headphones or speakers. I have Targus headphones that we bought at Staples and they are excellent!
