We call her an Exquisite (breed) because she is a mix: Shih Tzu, Yorkie, Poodle, and Cairn Terrier.
We're also planning a family, and so recently acquired a baby Yorkie-Poo . . . I call him "Ucky" because he pees and poops all over the place (getting better), but his given name is Lucky. (I still give him lots of love, and don't think he realizes what I'm calling him . . . LOL)

Troubles with Teething - Baby, Baby, Baby
Hi. My little guy is teething soooooo bad and I am wondering if any of you have some ideas that I can try, to hopefully make his life (and my life) a little easier to deal with? lol. We've tried Tylenol - with little pain relief, but much diarreha! We've tried Orajel - it seems to wear off too fast to make a difference. We've tried teething toys - help for only a few minutes (not nearly enough time for me to get any work done!). His appetite is normal, but his sleep schedule has been totally disrupted (as has mine). For the last 2 nights, he has woke up every couple hours. I would think he would be exhausted during the day....but he never goes to sleep. He is more fussy than usual and alittle more clingy, but overall he is very playful. His pediatrician gave me some suggestions (the above) that I have tried with little to no help, so I am desperate for new ideas! He is cutting multiple teeth right now (and just got a few new ones last week too) so he is in a lot of pain. Poor little guy. I appreciate all ideas that anyone has. Thanks in advance. :)

I've been there and done that. I had to get Labor Board. I eventually did get paid in dribs and drabs. If it's the same company, best get on it now. He's done it before and seems to lapse into the same habits about every year or so. Even so, ANY company who doesn't pay needs punishment. My guess is that the MTSO isn't going without pay and if there are, indeed, "bad" transcriptionists, the MTSO should know who he/she/they is/are and do something about it without punishing the whole crew. Uh, oh, another secret out. If you can swing it, it's a bedroom community of Denver near Arvada and Aurora and Boulder. I don't live in Denver, but live in Colorado Springs and love it. People who go to Denver frequently complain about the traffic...no place is perfect....sometimes our traffic is bad here too. If you love mountains and sunshine, this is the place for you. Well, I clicked on the link and could not get this ad up - so I missed out on the "beautiful MT". My question here is - are there any really beautiful MTs out there any longer - or are we all overworked, paid too little for our services, expected to do a lot of work that is not connected to the production that we are paid for - and receive little or no benefits or job security. I can tell you after 15 years, I do not feel very beautiful. Would like to hear from those who are "beautiful" and if the procedure to get that way was very painful, as I am contemplating some work.

Hey RadGuy, hopefully you are out somewhere enjoying the beautiful day here in Lexington. I just got home from going out with me, myself, and I to Johnny Carino's (Hamburg Place) for a wonderful lunch. Then I went to Value City Furniture and spent an hour looking around. I started to go to Office Depot, but I have this thing about computer desks and decided I had better just come on home !!

You ask about attitudes. This is my opinion. I lived there for 4 years in the 1970s, got married in Denver in '79. I found the people somewhat racist against many types of people...maybe that has changed today. I lived in Georgetown, Dumont, and Denver (Glendale and Capital Hill), worked from Loveland Pass way out west in the Rockies to the Bull 'N Bush in Glendale (very east of Denver) when the Broncos went to the Super Bowl, crossing all walks of life. I would hope, today, it has changed for the better. Your Father's Moustache Band was around then and still around today.

Outside weddings can be beautiful...
Don't underestimate this. I had a friend who had a casual wedding (she was not barefoot) but the guys wore blue shirts with khaki pants in a park-like setting with the creek traveling by it. Cut-offs would have been extremely out of place there. Slacks and a casual top would have been okay but I think the best choice is a dress (not exceedingly dressy) and sandles. My experience - one of the prettiest weddings I have ever been to.
