and bought one with a cover - she would not use it at all, even though ordinarily she likes dark enclosed spaces. Not with the litter box, she didn't. Had to get rid of the cover, then she used it. She never has liked to get in all the litter box all the way though. She balances herself on the edge of the box, so she doesn't have to get in, but at least it lands inside. Always have to make sure there is a lot of litter in it; otherwise she tips box over.
