I had RK in my late 20s. I was only mildly myopic but I worked for the surgeon so I had it done to eliminate my glasses. Several of my friends and in-laws had the surgery done also while was working for this surgeon. They have no problems. My in-laws were severely myopic. They still wear no glasses. I don't know much about Lasik surgery as it was just in the infant stages when I left employ of the ophthalmologist.
