I had the surgery for CTS on the right. Sometimes the left bothers me. I wear a splint at night and while using the mouse, I wear a mouse mitt. You can get them at www.mousemitts.com. They are extremely comfortable - sometimes I forget to take it off after typing. It has a little pad under the wrist that supports and protects from flexing it so much. It's helped me.
