Working TWO full-time jobs to make ends meet. They made it hard when they divided the categories like they did. I'm struggling here at the last minute trying to get enough just to hang on to it, but I do wonder why. None of these companies seem very impressed with the CMT and it has been a lot of hard work keeping it up. The small company I work for said they give me 8.75 cents because of it! What in the world does someone without it make????
Anyway, I thought it interesting that you got certified the same year as I. I would really love to encourage you to keep up your certification, but at this point, I'm not sure if it is worth it.

Once you know a field, it becomes a piece of cake. I do not agree that you need ANY books if you are transcribing ONLINE. There are many govt sites belonging to NIH and end in a dot gov which have all the current chemo drugs to date. We also have other rx websites to check out like drugs dot com and rx dot com to find drugs and proper spelling and when all else fails there's always Google dot com search engine.
hope that helps and hope I didn't cross any rules here for posting, if so please let me know, moderators *S*
I too took my daughter in 1987....sm
The Strasbourg train takes you through 14 Amish dairy farms and is a wonderful trip, eastern PA....Lancaster, and the food is great in that area! People are wonderful there (as they are in Western PA too).
Hope you enjoy your trip wherever you decide to go. I'm thinking of relocating from FL to PA in about 2 years.
Same hosp since 1987; changed MTSOs and I followed. nm
