Oh absolutely! I would get 9 or 10 lines of headers and footers per report on Cottage. sm
So, if you do the math, if I typed 25 reports that day, that makes a total of 250 LINES I no longer get paid for! I truly believe DQS is just a sneaky, smart way that MQ has come up with in order to squeeze line counts and money from under us. Think about it. It is!!! No doubt in my mind, ladies!!
I want to quit to freakin bad this DQS crap! I am making so much more LESS money on DQS it isn't even funny. We should really smarten up about this program.
Also, how about the way you have to look up cc's and addressess and then put it into that stupid ADT field and then you DON'T GET PAID FOR IT!! MAKES ME SICK!

If you are dressed modestly and stone cold sober and have the unfortunate coincidence of being somewhere where there is a rapist or killer and you become his victim, I guess you were in the wrong place at the wrong time? I dunno... at my old job the doc does peck away at a PC - sm
to put a few things like BP, Wt., Resp., etc. into the EMR, but they also still dictate notes. Some are on templates, others are full-on, long office visit or H&P notes. Depends on the doc's style. Some work is still done in house, and a majority of it is sent out to services. I now work at a service, and my accounts all use an EMR. I still have mostly long, detailed notes from there, and the EMR seems to have only taken over the absolutely most simple & repetetive of standardized notes.
That is weird! I dunno why?

or even a shrew or not. If it were me, though, and in fact it was me a couple of months ago, I'd not go out to lunch a couple of times to be able to get my keyboard. How much is this ergonomic keyboard you are needing anyway? When my ergonomic keyboard bit the dust a couple of months ago, I got on e-bay and got mine for $8.00 ($1.00 bid, $7.00 S&H). It came right away and my soreness and achiness for those few days went right away! But, even though this keyboard retails $50.00, I am wondering how much the one you want costs; way over $100.00? I guess what I'm getting at is I'd just take my kids to the park with Colonel Sanders AND get my ergomic keyboard too. I am sorry that your husband responded so coldly. My husband would bend over backwards to help find a for me to get the keyboard, but I can't see where I'd even make it his problem. I would just adjust my budget so I could get my keyboard and let my husband know what I was doing to be able to get it (and this is what I did a couple of months ago). I guess I don't see how this is such a huge issue; we're only talking about a couple of weeks, right? Of course your health and well-being is of great importance, and an ergonomic keyboard is a high priority because of your symptoms, but would it be that awful to adjust your budget just one time so you could get the keyboard? I guess I don't get to get out that much anyway, so missing a couple of lunches with friends wouldn't be that bad for me!
I've totally missed something here I am sure, right?
Anyway, I do hope your symptoms get much better soon; take care of yourself, especially regarding CTS.

I am so with you! It's these cheesy MTSOs! I just got my social security statement of my earnings since college and I was blown away... it was great for my self-esteem but pointed out exactly what has been going on. Last year and the year before I made less than working my way through college!!! It was down to 14-15K a year!! No joke. I look back to around 2000 and I was up to 50K a year plus benefits. That had been going on for some time. Even at 2005 I was doing okay, in the 40s. What happened? For a year I thought it was me, but no, my hospital outsourced and I went to a service. Found out they counted lines differently and I bounced from service to service the last 2 years. YIKES. I am now below the poverty level and a single mom. I should take these earnings statements to somebody.. I don't know who. But I am with you! There are only so many hours in the day and only so much work, etc. etc. At least you know there are those like you out there who have the same vent... but we have got to band together and somehow get paid again what we are worth! Nothing grilled, it gives me a bellyache, just plain toast and cheese stuck together My son will have his favorite, fried liver and onions, my daughter will have cinnamon oatmeal, husband will have half a grapefruit, oatmeal, 2 eggs, and toast. I run a short order house in the morning, but at least everyone eats something good for them before they leave the house, so I don't mind at all. And I won't be surprised if a few neighborhood kids stop in for my soup and sandwich or the oatmeal. The only rule is that they have to put their own dishes in the dishwasher, not leave them for me to clean up.
Let's see, just got through baking cheese straws, bran muffins,
fruit cake cookies and cheese/sausage balls and DH just came home with a big bag of almond M&Ms. Probably have a Pepsi to go with it. No veggies but I think we got all the other food groups - LOL.
I steam mine with Parm cheese in the leaves -
along with minced garlic. Pound those babies down on the counter so the cheese falls to the bottom and every bite has cheese on the leaves. Yummmmmmmmy- I also put lots of garlic the water along with any other flavoring I want the heart to taste like. I'm off to the store for chokes.....LOL
