I dunno. The same woman has done my hair at FS for years. I try to go to

In Reply to: Certainly you jest... I'm not into fancy salons, but I wouldn't let FS's - within a mile of me with hair color. nm
fancier places sometimes, but I always go back there. She's really a good hair cutter.

I am 38 and have been coloring my hair for at least 15 years - sm
I started going gray very early. I tried the stuff in the box, but have had much better results with professional products. Luckily for me, my sister is a licensed cosmotologist and can get the good stuff at cost. Have you considered going to a beauty school, if there is one near you? There are instructors there who can give you advice and then the students can do the processing under their guidance for a lot less than in a salon.
30 years and I'm still pulling my hair out sometimes

Usually years. Were you given a used one, full of animal hair, dust, or

Therapy for what? Because I don't support any woman who spouts an idea because she is a woman?
And you fall into the "therapy" or drug routine? Why not address the issues. You want women to support women no matter how ridiculous the idea is or you want to support a truth, no matter who tells it. The rest of the "therapy" crap you post is BS. You must know that by now.
Laser Hair Removal (for dark hair)
I've tried Epilators (basically an electronic tweezer) and wax, but nothing beats Laser HR. It's a bit pricy and takes a few treatments to be 100% effective, but definitely works.
I dunno
If you are dressed modestly and stone cold sober and have the unfortunate coincidence of being somewhere where there is a rapist or killer and you become his victim, I guess you were in the wrong place at the wrong time? No, that's not true. You would be a victim and that person who be wrong. That is what everyone would say. So, because she was drunk, she deserves it more?
I am not saying it didnt increase her chances of something bad happening. All I am saying is that she is still a murdered young woman, someone's daughter, and she STILL doesnt deserve to have her life taken away from her by some psycho.
Gee, I dunno...
why don't you ask these heterosexual pedophiles?
Dunno'
You've have to ask the supervisor. I'm too busy typing to be running around asking the others how many lines they've type. I just worry about myself, maybe something you should consider doing eh?
dunno - but I get 7.2 CPL for ME.....nm
I dunno
I have no idea, although I was kind of thinking along those same lines. This guy is killing me this week.
Dunno know if you should change. I still

I dunno... at my old job the doc does peck away at a PC - sm
to put a few things like BP, Wt., Resp., etc. into the EMR, but they also still dictate notes. Some are on templates, others are full-on, long office visit or H&P notes. Depends on the doc's style. Some work is still done in house, and a majority of it is sent out to services. I now work at a service, and my accounts all use an EMR. I still have mostly long, detailed notes from there, and the EMR seems to have only taken over the absolutely most simple & repetetive of standardized notes.
That is weird! I dunno why?

i dunno, maybe 20? it varies depending
on hot topics, mental duldrums, needing breaks from bad dictators, etc. Its usually very momentary.
Gee, I dunno. Maybe the way she tongue kissed
they did that a lot while growing up?
I dunno about that. My books are packed away and SM
I use Google all the time - then again, I do only one type of work and I have many years' experience. If I got into something new, I'd probably have to dig them out myself.
I dunno...Al-Qaeda is everywhere, so what does it matter?

I dunno if you're wrong or not...
or even a shrew or not. If it were me, though, and in fact it was me a couple of months ago, I'd not go out to lunch a couple of times to be able to get my keyboard. How much is this ergonomic keyboard you are needing anyway? When my ergonomic keyboard bit the dust a couple of months ago, I got on e-bay and got mine for $8.00 ($1.00 bid, $7.00 S&H). It came right away and my soreness and achiness for those few days went right away! But, even though this keyboard retails $50.00, I am wondering how much the one you want costs; way over $100.00? I guess what I'm getting at is I'd just take my kids to the park with Colonel Sanders AND get my ergomic keyboard too. I am sorry that your husband responded so coldly. My husband would bend over backwards to help find a for me to get the keyboard, but I can't see where I'd even make it his problem. I would just adjust my budget so I could get my keyboard and let my husband know what I was doing to be able to get it (and this is what I did a couple of months ago). I guess I don't see how this is such a huge issue; we're only talking about a couple of weeks, right? Of course your health and well-being is of great importance, and an ergonomic keyboard is a high priority because of your symptoms, but would it be that awful to adjust your budget just one time so you could get the keyboard? I guess I don't get to get out that much anyway, so missing a couple of lunches with friends wouldn't be that bad for me!
I've totally missed something here I am sure, right?
Anyway, I do hope your symptoms get much better soon; take care of yourself, especially regarding CTS.
I dunno about that - do you know what horseshoers make

Dunno.... the QA's who post on here sound pretty
Reading about how perfect they all say they are, how they never make a mistake, and all the rest of us are bastically illiterate, ou'd think they invented medical transcription, and possibly even the English language.
Laser hair removal. Has anyone tried laser hair removal on their face and if so, did it work?

Gee, I dunno. Maybe since you find Americans fat and arrogant is a start
so we're stuck with your nasty ol' hair-ball self
I dunno know about cottage cheese since lasagna has that (or ricotta) already in it??

maybe she wants to be the woman.
Seems to me, this is about those woman who only think they look like that...
and unfortunately do not.
Even young girls do this - I have seen young girls more and more, bellies out, cracks out (pardon me, do not know what else to call it- smile), and maybe 2 out of 10 have the bodies for it. The rest are overweight and have bulges and cellulite, etc.
I think almost everyone would agree, if a woman can wear something (or nearly nothing) and look good, more power to them. If they do not have a body like a model, or even close, best to hide the cleavage in public, in my opinion...
Done 2! Come on MTs....help this woman win!
Staples inventors contest. Vote for Julie Savage.
Can't we get this woman out of here?
I would sooner see your Avon and candles! This woman has been over on MT Chat, now here, who knows where else. I don't even believe she is an MT. How could she be when she is so busy with her "company"? Can't we get these types of "free advertisers" off here? Makes me mad! If fshe is free to advertise, then I think the rest of us should be able to, as well!
Yep, that's right, it was to a woman.nm

One woman actually said she (sm)
spent so much time at the pediatrician's office, she KNEW she could do it. NO KIDDING. She really said that.
She is more woman than you could ever-sm
hope to be in your wildest dreams. What did she ever do to you anyway? come on, take my one on one challenge...make my day. lol
Probably every woman on here has done the same or more
than this person is saying she had to do in order to take care of grandchildren. Most women here work and take care of children every day. She asked did I have grandchildren like you just could not work and take care of them. I did - others have here also- no bashing- just truthful, sounds like a cop out to me and probably others here.
Seems that woman
had some issues. Okay ... I can see being a little irritated, but really! Your director had the right attitude, and now you have your funny little story you can share. : )
Hair
Just be careful about mentioning Wal Mart. It has kind of been a bad word lately on the boards. I do not shop there a lot because my husband is a firefighter in the union but I do not blame people for shopping there because we do have to eat.
Cause I like my hair!
Worked in advertising for over 8 years as a commercial producer, and it (my hair) had started falling out!! Got burned out fast! Also, this field was more conducive to raising children - no travel and I was home for them!
Hair......
Thanks everyone for all your replies! So much good advice - I'll sleep on it and think it all over.
hair
I got a wild hair last week and went and had my hair cut really super shirt in a chic style, so hair blowing in my face won't be a problem. I am so psyched and ready to go buy the convertible. Hopefully by Monday, I'll have it! :)
hair cut
I paid 24.99 the other day + a $5 tip at Fantastic Sams - shampoo/haircut/style. That was last week. The cut was terrible, so I asked for a redo by another stylist - she did a great job - so I gave her a $5 tip - so in all - that would be $34.99. I always go to the beauty college to have my hair highlighted - $30 bucks - $13 for a machine facial and $15 for a back treatment - both better than a massage - being cocooned up in those warm blankets. Great.
bad hair
You are hysterical, Belle! Thank heavens I have short hair or I'd never answer the door!
LOL!!! Me too, except for the hair.
but all these things are kept hidden when working. You'll only see them when I'm not working.
No woman asks for it EVER
A woman can be walking down the street naked, she is not asking for rape. No woman ever wants to be raped. Old ladies, young ladies, middle aged ladies get attacked and raped and sexually harrassed and murdered. Women do not ask for this. Until we put the blame where it belongs, on the perpetrator, not the victim, nothing will change. You need some consciousness raising, me thinks.
A woman I worked with ... (sm please)
erased a tape of a day's worth of radiology reports. She pulled all the jackets (before PACS system) and took them to the rad. She apologized sincerely with a stiff upper lip. He did not say a word, read all the films again and life went on. She is now the lead MT and has been there for 15 yrs.
You really need to get a woman in your life!
nm
And what do you consider an older woman?
I can assure you that I'm not an older woman. Thirty is not old. I still get carded buying alcohol. I've never bleached my naturally blonde hair either. The clothes aren't skimpy. I have full coverage with nothing hanging out. I certainly don't shop in the plus or women sized departments either. It's just a change from slob mode, which is the point I was trying to make. Women will feel and look younger by taking a few moments to care about their appearance. Try some trendier clothes, a new hairstyle, a touch of makeup. Besides, if I was a fat, ugly, old lady as you're implying, troll, hubby would tell me. He's the one who didn't like my "comfortable" work clothes to begin with.
omg i know a woman who talks just like you
and is just as much an a** and even her sunday school class doesn't want anything to do with her!!! hehehehehe talking about an ugly, stinky attitude!!! hehehe
psycho woman
You sound like a nice woman that just has lousy tastes in men. First of all, you need to get involved in a church. If you have a large one in your area, they typically have groups of people that are in your same boat or had been in a similar boat. Go there first, and seek their advice. and it would be very good for the kids to attend also.
