There are definitely BAD lines of work to be in, but even the ones I think are bad (say, working at a water treatment facility) some people actually enjoy! It's all relative I guess.
Personally, I'm bored with this transcription thing. Day after day, repetative motions, repetative words, repetative salary with no ladder to climb...it's fried me man. I guess I do need to be challenged and I'm just not finding that with this particular line of work. It'll do, as the only other lines of work within driving distance of me are retail jobs or hookin' up cow teats to milking machines, but if a sizable amount of $$$ got dropped into my lap, I'd be gettin' me an edumacation to be an OR nurse or something cool like that. The human body fascinates me and I'd sure love to help be one of the people cutting into it and trying to fix it.
As I always say, you never know how you're gonna feel about something until you give it a shot!
