... can you reduce the size of whatever window you are working in? Or does that not do the trick? I honestly don't know, because I haven't experienced this issue myself.

Maybe it's just me, but I hate my 19" widescreen
monitor. It is a ViewSonic. I have tried many different settings and changes but nothing seems to work for me. This puts a tremendous strain on my eyes. I actually have an older monitor that I love, a 17" Samsung and not a widescreen. Perhaps it is the widescreen that I cannot get used to. I have been struggling with the 19" for over a year. Bought it at Costco. Wonder if I can still return it?
