all the Expander programs may be more flexible. I use mine with ExText, and the only thing I dislike is not being able to put in long blocks without going out of ExText first. Short blocks are fine, but my older version doesn't have a ctl shortcut for Smart Blocks, just Smart Word, so I'm limited to the 34 characters total for abbreviation and expansion. I usually write down longer expansions and put it in after I'm done working.
