I started training my first day yesterday, no phone conversations, just numerous emails and templates/samples that were kind of confusing and had extensive header information that needed to be completed.  Well, I went in under the wrong number on the system, not routed work and there were some formatting problems as well but it was my first day. 

Well, I was happy when I finished, thought my work was good and all was well in the world only to wake up this morning to a really rough email.  I know I made some formatting mistakes but geesh, it was my first day and this is training.  I emailed and said how sorry I was for the misunderstanding on my part, explained how it would not happen again (and believe me it won't, I'm not the type to make repetitive errors), well that was this morning and I've heard nothing from the company since then, I've left three emails and a phone message (nobody picked up the phone on their end) and now I don't know what to think.  I would hate to think I got canned on the first day for formatting!  Content was fine.

I thought training was to work out the kinks...expecting all wouldn't be perfect, there is a learning curve.  I'm so disheartened.  Sorry for venting but maybe you all feel my pain.

anyone else has just been so depressed lately?  Every springtime I get that way.   

a lot of us MTs have major malfunctions (LOVE your terminology, BTW), with a LOT of things.  Don't take offense.  I would be willing to bet no offense was meant by the poster.  Some of us like initials after our names....some of us think it is worthless....to each his own.

HC, you can believe or not believe whatever you want to.  I fail to see what the point would be of lying about something like that.  It certainly is not laughing matter to those affected, to be sure.

And hey, it may be that YOU are so valued as an MT, heck, probably even the BEST MT EVER, that they surely would NEVER cut YOUR pay without advanced notice, so if I were you, I wouldn't give it a second thought.

I found nothing wrong with your original post.  I almost posted a response myself saying that you need to talk to your QA people because every company uses their own method of putting blanks in, but someone else had already said it.

I just think Ella was responding to the wrong message, but I'm certainly not here to defend another poster.

Since I've been working for the last 1-1/2 years with a company and more recently with my own accounts, I daresay that I am doing just fine with or without the RMT.  I wanted to take the RMT for my own fun.  I am sure there are others that either want to take the test or that are waiting to hear their results after waiting several months.

This is my 2nd Saitek...the first one had silver keys and oh ya, I got the paint on them babies worn off within 6 months.  I'm totally bummed to hear this one will do the same thing, because I really looked at it hard before buying and saw the letters were "etched" in and not painted on.  It's no biggie for me, being a touch typist, but when family or friends want to plink around, they got totally lost...plus it looked fargin' ugly too. 

I use the angry red lights when typing that ESL crap (red alert!), and the happy purple the rest of the time.  The old one was just blue, so I'm kinda sick of that for right now, but it is so much fun to mess with the mood lighting.  Simple pleasures for simple minds      

we received our "incentive packet."  They don't even have the wherewithall to contact us personally.   These are temp-agency hired telemarketers sitting around a boiler room making sure we're reading our mail.... told him it don't pertain to me because I've been demoted from FT to SE.... He said, "yes, the letter is vague, but it does pertain to FT as well as SE...." yeah right, we'll see.

I would contact Hotels.com first to see why they only reimbursed partial.  That is ridiculous.  I would be upset.  How long ago did they bill your credit card?  I'd call your credit card company and dispute the charge.  Most credit card companies will fight it for you.

the point is how this person has attacked the OP.  They were rude and it was uncalled for.  so the next time you have a concern and bring it here, we can rip you apart instead of give support and you can chalk it up to it being a different POV.

I get so SICK of some people trying to make excuses for bad behavior.

3.  All offices will be run exactly the same way.
