In Reply to: How do I set Express Scribe as my default for wav files?? - Sherrie
It has been a long time but go to "start" then "search" then "all files and folders" and put .wav under file name and when a file comes up that has .wav at the end right click on it and go to properties and hopefully a box will come up and under "general" it says "opens with" and you go to "change" and pick Express scribe and make sure to put a check mark on "always use this selected program to open this type of file". Hopefully that will work. I remember having to try to take Media Player completely off the computer because it kept trying to overtake my preferences but I finally got it to work correctly.
